Extremely slow play
Played on the weekend and as I expected it was busy but the course dont do anything to keep the speed of play going.
We have a 2 ball infront of us then in front was a 3 and then a 4 ball.
Every hole we have to wait about 10 mins before teeing off which really doesn’t help.
Much improved course
Over lockdown the course has been reversed so the old front nine is now the back nine. They’ve also cleared all the growth around the lakes so they are now striking features of the course as you can actually see them now. Small changes that have made a big difference compare to previous visits.
Course was in good condition, except for the greens,, to much sand .

Many thanks to the guy in the booth he was really friendly and got us off earlier as slot available when we where paired up with someone else .
Disappointed
£35 for what had a feel of a pitch and putt. Appreciate courses will be desperate to make money at the moment but they’ve crammed too many tee times in and 4 3/4 hours is far too long for what feels like a 3 hour course. A lot of other players seemed pretty wayward which isn’t an issue but doesn’t seem to be an etiquette of calling fore and had a couple of very close calls. If you can get on in summer for £20 and the course is empty it wouldn’t be bad value but otherwise I’d stay well clear
Brilliant knock about
Good tee boxes. Well cut fairways n rough quick greens. Played here 3 times this week and also potential membership
Wish i never bothered.
As the title says wish i never bothered after the last time i played here a year ago.
For the money paid its probably one of the worst course around.Some of the fair ways were like farmland with tractor wheel lines on them.I cant believe with all this time everyone has had they have not improved this course in fact its just as bad as i last played here a year ago.The majority of the greens were bad with most pitch marks not repaired but i suppose thats down to lazy players not repairing.Just the over all state of the course for the money paid is a joke.Never again sorry.
Glad to be back on the course
Regardless of recent times, it was amazing to be back on a golf course. Had a lovely day and booked to go back in 2 days time. Also looking at membership options.
Waterlogged
Played this morning for a Xmas round with my mate and I have to say we were told it was wet in places. But it was actually waterloogged everywhere. We lost in total 12/15 balls that just plugged and could not be found. It was borderline dangerous
