The course is great a little hard when you are just starting some long holes. Definitely be going again.

For the wet weather we have been having the course was surprisingly playable with the buggy paths more like rivers the actual course was in great shape. With only a few low lying areas getting boggy. Hats of to the green keeping staff for making buggy’s and electric trolleys stick to the cart paths, that is going a long way to keeping the course playable.

Plenty of tee times to suit, course holds up well all year round with some tricky holes to test any golfer

Course has some nice holes and is well kept but the pace of play kills it, played 10 holes in 3 hours and was then rained off. Waiting on every tee ain’t great so u wouldn’t come back here on a weekend.

Rude staff member in pro shop right from the get go. Orders me that my wife and I are to be paired up with a couple of youngsters in a buggy! Told him he could to take a hike. There was nothing when we booked our round to tell us that would happen and I didn’t travel 20 miles for that type of nonsense!!. Too many people were being let out all on top of each other, so obviously trying to maximise their green fee receipts to the detriment of all golfers out there. It’s 1:40pm on a Sunday evening in October and gets dark by 6pm have some common sense please!!.. groups of Hackers in front who held everybody up! Staff member rudely interrupts our round midway, to tell us to hurry up when we were the only ones out there actually making progress and playing holes within normal time. Thought he had a bloody cheek he only wanted his buggies back so he could get home! Shouldn’t have let so many out so late in my opinion. Won’t be back here again in a hurry!!

For what I paid, cannot knock this place, have played it many times over the past 5 years and the conditions have improved over that time, however there are some areas of work that have been left open on the course

Can’t fault this course for the money. Interesting layout, greens were immaculate considering the dry weather, which had dried out the fairways a touch but overall good condition.

Blake's course a great venue for a round of golf exceptional price great venue easy to find on the map not too far a little bit hilly in some points of the first nine and buggies are available most people have buggies when we were there and friendly staff great layout of the course course was in pretty good condition very happy with the way it was and a great bar upstairs we will be visiting this course again

Played here in 28° heat which is rare in the UK but did have a southerly breeze which helped out a lot. A great course with some link like ruffs. Very spacious and if I could get my drive to go straight I could have shaved 10 points off my score;) would love to play there again some day as I think it’s a course that’s challenging but you can tame it if you think about your shots more. Would definitely recommend it.

Played Blake’s for the first time after hearing many negatives about its past conditions. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality, difficulty and price of the course. Only thing I found to be a pain was the length of the rough either side of the fairways!! If you find your ball in that lot, you should buy a lottery ticket!

Good course to play with it testing all golfing ability levels, fairways & greens are kept in good condition. Feel that the rough is far too long in places and punishes you heavily when you’re playing a blind tee shot.

Can’t go wrong for £28, forgiving in places, sand in bunkers and greens in really good condition. I’ll be back even though it’s a 49 min drive thanks.

Played here a few times course in excellent conditions. Greens superb. 1st time in very windy weather as well as rain. Plays very differently to when the sun is out and there is no wind. Great challenge
