Bondhay Golf Club - Championship Course

Course is always a tough challenge due to the tree lined Fairways and your game needs to be on it.

From arrival until leaving was made to feel welcome and the course was in very good condition.

Very few on the course meant pace of play was very good too.

Look forward to returning soon..

Challenging course with narrow fairways and well placed bunkers. Good variety of holes that were in good condition, excellent value for money

Love the course, been 5 times this year.

Always good condition.

Problem is too many trees... if you miss the fairway especially front 9 ..you have to chip out sideways .

This I feel is to much, mentally frustrating.

Fairways narrow and if you miss you're chipping out.

Still very pretty course, love the ponds on 9 and 18.

Any drift from the fairway is punished. Sometimes feels that goodish drives are unfairly penalised. However, you can see everything from the tee. Can get very narrow at driving distance. Problem is if you do not drive it is a long second to the green. Your choice. Greens always excellent and easy enough to read with a good pace about them.

Clubhouse has not been doing food for a while. Warm welcome assured.

Really enjoyed this course. It was well kept and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely play here again.

Great afternoon, good condition, all fairway, tees, greens nice.

As before too many trees, if you miss the fairways you have to chip out sideways, feel this a bit unfair.

Still keep coming back.

Really enjoyed playing the course, some narrow fairways, you have to be straight and able to plot your way around the course, and you don't have to be a big hitter. A good challenge.

This is a tough course , very tight.

Slight pull, or push you're in trouble.

Too many trees i played the 5th part 5.

Pulled shot left , was in a small forest.

Trees everywhere. Can't go forward, even hard to chip out .

It can mentally drain you as you have to be SO accurate.

Still I keep coming back .

Don't be surprised if you only get 30 points Stapleford, it's very tough...

Greens today slow, just hollow tinned , sandy.

But it has to be done some time.

Challenging but enjoyable course which makes it ideal for the recreational golfer

Great course but lack of information given about work on greens and too many temporary greens on for the price would have been nice to be told . Plus I've played this course a lot if times and still the lack of sand is a problem its what spoils a really nice course ..

Played for the 2nd time this year, great course with some challenging holes. Not in as good condition as the first time we played but still in great condition, well worth a try.

Haven't played here for a couple of years & it's really matured.

The course was in excellent condition from tee to green .

A long course that played even longer on a windy day.

A must to hit the fairways or you are in the tree's hitting it back into play sideways.

Good value at £20 , but you need to have your A game to score well.

What a well thoughtful course that challenges everyone’s tee skills. The narrow fairways with matured tree lines makes it a real challenge hitting low chip and runs to recover. The greens are small but very quick and there are four picturesque holes. The bunkers are really well positioned and difficult. A must play course for all

Course layout was great, with well kept tee boxes and bins at every other tee which keeps the course tidy. Green keepers have done a fantastic job with the line work on fairways and even the rough was maintained. Will definitely play here again.
