Bondhay Golf Club - Championship Course

Travelled 30minutes to play this “championship” course after seeing the reviews. Nothing on the website to say all temp greens and temp greens was terrible. Pace of play was awful, walked off on the 9th. Should be told before booking about temp greens, waste of a afternoon, and all the staff had to say was it’s still a round of golf

Only my 10th round of golf as a new player and a baptism of fire. Spent a lot of time in the trees, of which there are many. Its a little punishing but immaculately kept and has some lovely fairways and greens.

I love this course but was dissatisfied today

Leaves everywhere and yes you’re going to get that on parkland but more could have done by the club.

At £30 each and only getting to play 9 holes because we were nearly 3 hours in at that point, you have to question is there too much traffic for a Sunday & why no sign of a Marshall

Lovely course and nice food but would avoid on a Sunday. Mentioned to pro and not even a 9 hoke voucher offered for what we missed. Expensive mistake

Fairways a little rough, all greens roped off (front nine at least) and unsure if you are allowed to chip inside ropes so constantly picking up ball if short of green speed of play and general numbers way to slow so we gave up after 9 holes which took 2 hours 20 minutes to complete not so bad as we got reduced price deal as afternoon tee time but would not like to pay full price

Nice course. Some good challenging holes. They've saved the nest hole till last! Very enjoyable afternoon's golf.

Played the course for the first time on a wet Sunday afternoon. Was held up most of the way round as following a society match. Found the course interesting and quite challenging in places. Would certainly play it again.

Always enjoy visiting Bondhay, never easy whatever the weather but a true challenge and in great condition

Good course, some tricky holes. Well worth another visit

Far too many tee times booked all bunched together meant 4 1/2 hour round.
