Excellent Value
Excellent value for a well maintained municipal course. Overall in good condition despite lack of rain. Bonus of free round if paying for 5 (not applicable on Hot Deals)
Excellent Value
Well kept for a municipal course at a very good price. Pay normal rates and get 6th round free
Nice course
Good course for the money played here a few times. Always welcomed by staff and a really friendly place. Course always to a good standard for the money.
Average
Average course, it’s not my 1st choice and only play here if it’s a must. The price kind of says it all. Greens very bobbly, fairways dry and patchy, no rakes on the bunkers due to what I can only assume being in Worksop and they’d get stolen. Public access so people walking dogs off the lead and having no care of you playing golf and running across the course.
Good Course
First time going to the course, it was a good layout, a couple of tricky holes. overall great experience.
Kill Tim forest
Stev and groundskeepers polite excellent no queries with that course was very poor greens were temporary greens which were just on the fairway rough needs looking at
Good course , was first 18 hole we’ve done and enjoyed the course
Pace of play
Very disappointing, a competition was holding everyone up and were seen marking their cards rather than clearing the greens. The staff were very apologetic.
The course is wide and open
The course is challenging enough without being to difficult.Greens in lovely condition.tee boxes and fairways in condition you would expect with current heat wave.
Very well laid out course.
This was the first time I have played Kilton Forest. The greens are good. Fairways very dry, but this is only to be expected due to the weather. The overall course layout is good, with some very nice holes.
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was good.
Only downside. No rakes for bunkers and noticed several broken beer bottles on the tees and in the rough. However, this did not distract from a really enjoyable day at a nice, friendly course.
Not too bad at all
Well I found this deal and what a bargain I’ve course , quite straight so good starter course or for high handicappers. Wide forgiving fairways some nice greens ( back 9 were in better condition than the front 9) . Only negative was the bunkers , as the sand was very compressed and hard. However, I would give this another go as for the price it was good value
Wednesday Golf at Kilton
Fairways are in good condition, greens are in good condition, tees could do with more grass and some levels and holes filling. We enjoyed our game on the course and for the price it great value and I’m sure we will play here again. Plus if you play you can have a loyalty card signed and get a free game.
some good features
excellent putting and chipping area practice facilities on the whole very good, bunkers would improve from increase in sand although greens were in reasonable condition they could be improved upon course layout is good although fairways and greens would both improve with additional watering. on the whole good all round course, would recommend to others and would play again in the future. off course facilities excellent both staff and members very helpful and friendly.
Great Course for the Money
As per the title, my first time here as a high handicapper and i must say what a course for the green fee.
The course layout was good and challenging in places but in terms of condition i haven't played a course at this value in as good condition as the Kilton Forest, the greens were really good and the course was in good condition.
Will definitely be returning.
