Bondhay Golf Club - Championship Course

Never fails to test every aspect of your golf game. Shame players ahead were too lazy to rake bunkers and repair their pitchmarks.

To many bunkers!!! Also tight fairways with plenty of small trees bunched together leaving no second shot possible. Find yourself going sideways a lot. Lovely big greens in good condition.

Lovely course just hard going if only slightly wayward.

On arrival staff very helpful we had arrange for a buggy which was parked up waiting manage to tee off early as the 3 ball in front had already gone c course was in brilliant condition and the greens were very challenging

Excellent course beautifully presented a joy to play.

Considering the time of year no temp greens and only a few temp tees.

Greens a bit longer grass wise but still very good

Bondhay is a great course you need your wits about you. Trees everywhere, bunkers, water. You need to have great course management around here. My brother used to play in the Danny Willet junior championship there. Would play again.

Fabulous days golf. What a find this was. Course is recovering from the hot dry summer in patches but still fantastic. No boring holes. Lots of variety in layout. Thought needed off the tee due to well placed bunkers that were excellently maintained. Clubhouse really friendly. Can’t wait to go back

The pro’s advise was to hit it straight - he wasn’t wrong with lots of the fairways lined by trees which almost guarantee a chip out. A thoroughly enjoyable course which was largely in very good condition with only a couple of signs of the impact of the hot, dry summer we’ve had. The 18th hole is a great hole to finish - stunning.

Good value at £12, always enjoy the drive up to car park. Course is the toughest Ive played. Think there are too many trees miss the tight fairways and you're behind a tree nearly always had to chip out sideways which I feel is wrong. Only have to be slightly off line and this happens. I;m a 8 handicap but this is to tight. Still keep coming back though so must be something I enjoys whether this is the challenge not sure..

Very friendly welcome. Excellent facilities for food and drink. The course is suffering from the dry conditions over the last few weeks. Some of the tees were poor. Greens were very good however. This is a long, tight course with lots of trees. Very important to be straight from the tee. It is a good challenge for all abilities.

Course in good condition as always. There was a delay on the tee booking over 30 mins and no mention of this in shop beforehand. Had to be told by someone on 1st tee. Pretty disappointing by that was a backlog and lot of waiting

The course is good and in excellent condition, especially considering the weather.

The course is challenging, if you aren't straight off the tee, you'll be in for a tough day.

Finally and most importantly, the pace of play is awful. My dad, brother and I have played three times in the last four weeks and been held up by slow play on every occasion.

Very wet conditions other local courses were shut. Course played fine just wet in some areas.

Excellent well kept course with plenty of challenging long par 4's. Course doesn't help my driver slice as plenty of bunkers and trees on the right to get you into a sticky situation. Challenging course with plenty of variety and excellent value for money.

This course is terrific. I have played it many times and will definitely keep coming back for more. Its challenging, tight, tree lined, dog legs, water hazards. Its also stunning, very well laid out and maintained fairways and greens, it plays really well all year round.......I cant remember ever seeing a boggy patch. 10/10
