Bondhay Golf Club - Championship Course

Teed off late afternoon. Course in great condition, tough test, as if you try and take driver off most tees you’ll be blocked out or chipping out, absolute bargain for £13. Course was really quiet so our 4 ball had a perfect round.

100% best value for money course I’ve played in a long time, after 4pm it was £12!! Course in great nick, from tee boxes to greens all in great condition! I’d recommend to book now

The course is, unfortunately my game isn't and at Bondhay it needs to be. That said another enjoyable round here.

The course is a challenging one with narrow fairways, fast greens and harsh rough. You have to be on your game with this one because if you’re not on the fairway you’re in dense woods, bunkers or long grass. It’s not one for the feint hearted and probably too hard for the higher handicapper. The greens are some of the best I’ve played in UK this year and expose a poor putting stroke, subtle breaks but run true. I thought some of the fairways were a little too narrow for the length of some of the par 4s and that some of the bunkers crept too far into the fairway on others. The trees could do with thinning out a little bit but as a group of 6 players everyone enjoyed it (even the higher handippers who scored low-mid 20,s on Stableford

Great challenge of golf with some tight fairways and fast greens.

Great staff, Justin and Barry in the pro shop will look after you from the off. Some of the narrowest fairways around. You best bring your A game to walk in with a decent score. Great condition, greens lightning fast, fairly flat but some tricky reads. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is over once on Green, you best give them the respect they deserve. Not for players that like to drive and wedge particularly off the whites. Can recommend Bondhay to the straight, long and brave, others beware.

Apart from the rain, it was a fantastic day at the course.

Greens amazing and fast like snooker cloth. Trees, bunkers and water challenge you everywhere, but really well looked after.

Would love to go back on a sunny day if they will have us again.

Course in excellent condition a great challenge of golf. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Even though it chucked it down for 8 holes I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was in fantastic condition and the greens were superb, probably the best I've putted on this year. The pro Barry was very helpful as were the kitchen and bar staff. I would definitely recommend Bondhay to anyone without hesitation.

Great course, challenging for our group (relatively new players) pace was alright sadly held up by a 4 ball who weren’t helpful with anyone trying to get past them, not the courses fault in anyway

The course is well maintained and the grounds are well looked after, genuinely a brilliant play and can’t Recommend the place enough

Love this course excellent value for money … some cracking holes along with some long par 5s only down side is slow play .. the course is tight lined by trees but green staff do a brill job of cutting under trees so you can’t really lose a ball … down side is that members who play regularly but still hit balls in the trees I find it hard to believe and that’s what causes the slow play ,, in a two ball and four ball would not let you play through so having to wait on every tee … other than that I didn’t mind too much … it’s a brill course and fun and would recommend everyone who loves golf to go and play …

Yeh reminds me of Portugal! Always loved the course, not good enough yet to play it anywhere near my hdcp, I'll get there one day when I've played it more, once I've joined as a member. Pretty much love every hole. Will check out the par 3 and driving range at somepoint for myself, others have said poor and in need of upgrade. I just love the course, can you tell!

The course was in amazing condition, the greens ran lovely and the fairways were in great Nic. A really nice layout and some of the holes are gorgeous! Will defiantly be playing again next time I’m in the area.
