Outstanding facilities and course.
Exceptional value for money at a high standard course.
Played at 3 o'clock on a sunny Tuesday afternoon.
A warm welcome from the members and staff in the pro shop.
Practice facilities are incredible! Putting green, indoor nets, outdoor nets, mini driving range (use your own golf balls), chipping/pitching/wedge (with 3 AstroTurf greens as targets and varying distances) area all outstanding.
Course full of character, but not too long, roughly 6,000 yards.
Par 3's are the highlight, picturesque and a real challenge!
Pace of play was just right. The only hold up was as 4 deer wandered across the fairway, a first for us! This added to the charm of the course and the experience, quintessential New Forest.
Tees are to a tour level standard and the greens were outstanding, fast and true, with more rolls than a bakery!
We finished in under 4 hours and had a pint on the scenic patio area.
The only negative would be we finished at 7 were informed food had stopped being served, which was slightly disappointing as we had heard great things.
Outstanding overall, we will be back!
Nice Course
We played on a windy damp afternoon in August but that didn't affect the obvious quality of the course. The tee boxes were probably the best I have ever played on and the general presentation of the course was excellent. The greens were interesting with some big swings.
Don’t believe all you hear from other reviews
I want to start by stating, this course is an absolute pearl.
The tee boxes, I’m still not quite over them if I’m honest. Flatter than a cricket wicket and manicured to perfection.
Greens quick and testing. Bit rolled very true and consistent through the course.
Not the longest course you’ll play, but very much a course you need to plan your way around.
The par 3s are simply stunning. A couple of beauty’s in the 6th and 12th if I remember correctly.
It can be expensive for a tee, but keep a close eye on here and you can often grab a bargain! Certainly will be back again.

Waited a long time to play the course very disappointed for the money me and my son paid. Work needed on bunkers and fairways. Loved the par 3s best part. Very good food from the bar menu
