Bramshaw Golf Club - Manor Course

3 ball having not been here before. Good access to practice nets, pitcing and putting greens. Easy to follow course in very dry conditions meaning hard running fairways upto well maintained fast greens. Ball travelled a long way so judgement of club was difficult not knowing lie of the land. However, we enjoyed the challenge, weren't to dissapointed in our scores and managed numerous pars and a birdie between us. Have decided we will return when the course has seen some rain. A very enjoyable visit.

Myself and a couple of friends played the manor course for the first time and all absolutely loved it. Great condition for early April and well set out.

It's a lovely course to play, challenging hoe's, fairways in good condition but some greens bumpy and brown patches, but only small ones

A great parkland/ woodland course, with a good variation of holes, ditches and rivers meander across several holes, a well kept course, despite all the rain over the winter.

Course very wet and boggy on. All holes four holes shortend to par threes clubhouse closed for refurbishment fed up losing balls in boggy fairways

The manor course has been turned into a par 3 course. You have to walk the full length of the original layout but they have placed mats down at par 3 distances from each hole. The second hole is a par 5 but you play 161 yards of it.

I arrived at the course to find the pro shop and all amenities closed. It would of been nice to be told all holes have been shortened.

For 25 pounds I think this should be made clear on their profile. If I knew I would of played a par 3 course because it’s a lot less walking.

This was my second time playing this course...I can't say anything bad about it.

Both games I've played have been extremely pleasurable..

I played this course about 8 weeks ago and even though it had been dry for some time the greens and tee box's were in good condition however on this recent visit the greens and tee box's have declined considerably. I have played a number of courses in recent weeks and despite the dry conditions the greens and tee boxes of other courses are in much better condition than this course. Shame as the manor course has a very good layout.

Turn up to play and they are holding people up already by punching the greens at midday on a bank holiday, then they let any amount of 2 and 1 balls play so it gets held up even more. On another note, there must be a hose pipe ban in Bramshaw it’s like playing off tarmac, and some of the greens look like an Indian wicket they’re so cracked.

Course was very dry but areas around the greens and greens themselves were largely excellent. Greens fast and true.

It was a busy day but groups ahead of us were courteous and understood course etiquette. We eventually got through several 4 balls and ended up with clear fairways ahead of us. 18 completed in 3 hours, very much enjoyed

Played here for the first time today ,very impressed ,nice clubhouse,very friendly ,had a 9 hole breakfast which was good quality ,lady behind the bar very freindly and welcoming .

The course is long and wide so if you get a good tee shot off you have a chance ,fairways are pretty bare but the extraordinary weather circumstances have caused this and most clubs are the same .Its reasonably flat but long so if you are of a certain age I’d recommend a buggy .

Overall we had a good day out and will definitely be back hopefully when there is more grass on the fairways !!
