Could be better....
Very disappointing for a first visit. Even with a period of 20 minutes behind three golfers ahead, their pace was slow. I could not go around at the pace I would have enjoyed. The ground was rock hard and affected ground play.
Criss-crossing holes is frustrating....
Ok but not great
Tee box’s a bit ropey greens good but no par 5 on course also fairways cross over each other quite a lot and there is a public foot path running straight through middle of course.

Good course for a quick round and enough good holes on the Course. Good for mid or high handicappers
Quality short course
Had an excellent welcome and surprised that the condition of the greens were excellent, however could have been a touch quicker. Enjoyed hitting long irons off the tee with emphasis on accuracy rather than hitting driver on every par 4 and some nice holes especially on the front 9.
Would visit again when in the area.
Highcliffe Castle Golf Club
Found the staff very helpful and friendly, the course was in very good condition fairways good greens fair to good and nice speed, layout was strange as some holes on back 9 you hit across other fairways had to be careful as balls flying onto our fairway from other tees, glad it was not too busy. Club house and toilets very good. Recommend to play.
Best open course I’ve played in a while
Not much to fault about this course can’t wait to play again highly recommend
Too Compact
My first visit to the course. I did not enjoy the course as it was too compact. I felt like it would have been a better 9 hole course. The 18 holes were too packed in for me.
Great coarse
Would highly recommend this course. It was good value, and I really enjoyed the day out.
