Early start
Missed the turn for the golf course as the roadside sign was obscured by greenery. Nevertheless, got a friendly greeting in reception, and I was cleared to tee off straight away 7am. Very enjoyable round of golf. Quite a tight, twisty course, lots of bunkers, some hills, lots of tree lined fairways. One slight gripe was the lack of indicators at the greenside for the next tee. Overall thoroughly enjoyed playing
Rainy day
Even though it was raining non stop we was allowed a buggy which made all the difference. The course was well maintained and greens running true. We enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend.
Great conditions considering
The course only opened the front 9 after a fair bit of rain but we were still not disappointed. We did the front 9 twice and it was in great condition fairways and greens are very well kept. A lovely clubhouse with bar and restaurant that is also used by the public. We’ll be back for the full 18 soon..
A cheeky Sunday 9
The Sun late on a Sunday afternoon proved too much of a temptation to dust off the winter cobwebs. Bromsgrove never disappoints. A quick bucket on the excellent range. The course condition was good despite recent heavy rain. A couple of winter Tees which is understandable. Greens were good for the time of year. Hooked up with a member for 7 of the 9 holes which was very welcome.
Brilliant!
Second time here after nearly two years. Surprised with the green condition, it was very good considered with the winter and wet weather, kudos to ground staffs! A bit hilly and quite challenging as well. Gutted managed to finish 11th hole but due to heavy rain we didn't complete the course. Definitely we'll be back!
Great condition for time of year
Love this course, always fun to play and great value for money.
Pleasantly surprised
My first visit albeit in winter was still an excellent day out . Staff very friendly many practice fercilities. Course is quite hilly so reasonable fitness required. Some fantastic holes and views condition was very good for time of year .I'm a plus 3 golfer and course was quite challenging would definitely recommend.
Quite disappointed that we had no rain or frost for a lot of days but some of the holes were on temporary greens which were awful and the main greens were perfect with no issues
We played on a Sunday as a two ball as visitors and was held up by a four ball members group they was very slow and did not have the courtesy to let us play through bit disappointing
