Cannock Park Golf Course

This course is a good layout but lacks some loving care as some greens are in poor condition . With some well placed trees and water hazards the course has some good challenges.

The only staff member was the lady at the reception who was very nice and helpful

With some TLC this course can the a great value for money course again

Great course for a municipal, well maintained and great layout. Would definitely play here again and recommend the course!!!

Really enjoyed the course and the greens were in a decent condition. Will certainly be revisiting after a 5 year break from the cannock park course.

Patchy and all different can’t judge the pace of the greens at all. General layout of course is excellent and challenging and then you get to the greens and they are absolutely atrocious. Way overpriced if Cannock sorted the greens it would be a very good course to play. Let’s it down so much. How you can charge £16 a round is daylight robbery purely for the conditions on the greens. Make it cheaper or fix the greens so it’s a fair price so then you actually have a chance of putting in a 20footer

Decent 18 hole lay out with some tricky tee shots. For a municipal course it was impressive however the greens were poor and bobbly. Not the worst I’ve played but couldn’t read a put all day. The only other down side was that there were the people walking around the course throughout the day with paths leading around and through. Couple of times you would have a shot at the green and there would be someone walking towards you to the right of the fairway... thin it right and you’ve killed someone.

Overall tho good municipal course however if they could just get the greens in better shape it would be a so much better

Played Sunday course overall not too bad pace of play was good once the 2 guys who jumped on the course off Stafford road went! Pity about the greens! Cannot believe they are so bad considering no one has been near for months until 29th March made putting difficult

But weather was good so good just to be able to get out of the house and enjoy golf

Considering the amount of time that the greens have not been used for they are in terrible condition, have obviously not been looked after during lock down very dissatisfied

Great game as usual at cannock, just a shame we were sold a slot for me and my dad that was in fact them forcing us into a 4 ball with 2 random guys, so if you want to play here.... Book direct

This course is well laid out and ideal for those who have not played for a while to get confidence back.

Played here first day after re opening and the course wasn’t in very good condition at all tees were full of sand and bumpy the greens were all patchy with dead bits of grass all over them but it was nice to get a game .

Travelled over 30 mins to play here after booking a tee time the previous day via Golf Now. Turned up at course only to be told it was closed due to a waterlogged course. Thanks for letting me know!!!

I understand that conditions change in the winter months but the winter greens here are farcical. There has been no attention paid to the greens and it became less enjoyable to play as we went around.

There has been far too much yardage removed to accommodate the winter greens and on some holes maybe 50 yards.

We decided to walk the rest of the course but didn’t play it correctly.

I would like to return when the greens open and some attention has been paid to the course.

The course itself is very forgiving with plenty of room for error and I would be willing to give it another chance but only in better conditions.

Very disappointed.
