Great Value
Great condition
Great layout
Great views
I didn’t eat or drink in the bar so cannot judge that
Would highly recommend
Good course. Tough walk
I came away thinking, never again without a buggy. This is a hilly course. The last 3 holes is like climbing a mountain after you’ve already run a marathon. Hate to say it but it wasn’t much fun at times. There are some interesting holes and the course was in great condition. A few greens under repair but the rest of it was top quality. The staff in the shop and the bar were great. If you’re young and very fit, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re middle age and enjoy life, get a buggy or swerve it.
Use flags to hit cross other fairways
We arrive early, check-in at the Pro shop to confirm tee time & pick up score, nothing usual. Except this course has some special local rules & there is no starter on the first tee box which is +300yrd walk away. Played the first normal short Par 4 STR8 hole no issues. Go2 the 2nd hole which tees off over a.deep gully. Got shouted at bye golfers below for some reason, all shouts flew well over the gully down a 300yrd fairway. Walk down & access the fairway to find locals upset that we didn't use the flag on the Tee box to indicate we were Tee off. We apologise & said we never knew.
Secondly the first half dozen Green have in terrible condition with bumps & lumps all over, possibly caused by weed killer treatment, Not good for the price we paid.
Nice day out
Course in excellent nick. Trees always in your eye line. Testing with only 16th a tad unfair.
Chiltern Forest
Really beautiful course - you could be in the Alps
friendly staff.

Good course
Decent course that is very hilly.
Was told on the 1st tee after hitting 5 iron by a member who watched me tee off "that the committee prefer people to use tees". Very strange thing to say and a absurd rule.
Has some winter damage but will be good in summer
Chiltern Forest Friday
Really interesting course in fabulous condition considering to hirrendous rain this week. The only downside is a lot of crossing fairways. Be warned, the course is very hilly. Staff were very friendly, will definitely play again.
Great course!
Really enjoyed the course! Only thing to note very hilly definitely worth getting buggy makes for great views and interesting holes though.
Amazing course
Incredible value for money, really well maintained with stunning views of the chilterns.
