Chilwell Manor Golf Club

We've played chilwell a couple of times now and really enjoyed it. The layout is very flat, but has some interesting holes, with plenty of hazards to keep you thinking. The greens were superb both times and the fairways were holding up well despite the weather we had had. Only grope was the two ball wouldn't let us through despite being 1 1/2 holes behind the 4 ball in front... but that isn't the fault of the course!!

Always enjoy this course even when I play average. As a older high handicapper i think the course is fair with the challenge left to the greens with great borrows and undulations to test you. Course played well despite torrential rain in the morning so no complaints.

The old chestnut of slow play with other groups not being considerate or aware of the etiquette to let others play through perhaps needs some guidance when arriving (by all Clubs) for non members/casual players.

No chipping area, no driving range, greens were woolly. Course not very challenging. Bar staff and kitchen staff are always friendly.

Had a great afternoon, the greens were the best I’ve seen for a long time. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Had great day!!

This was the first time that I had played at Chilwell Manor. A very pleasant parkland course with some interesting dog leg holes along with long straight par 4 and 5 holes. The fairways were open and the greens were exceptional. The only criticism that I had was that the bunkers were poor with very little sand.

Off course the staff and members were both helpful and friendly. A course that I would recommend to friends and play again.

Played this course as part of a friendly tournament with my friend in Nottingham. Booked on a whim without too much research but so glad we did! What a course! All round excellent and the best course we played on the trip by far! Couldn’t recommend enough and we will definitely be returning!

Course in good condition with nice clubhouse facilities. Some ladies on a competition being a little snooty when we Tee’d off and she considered her green was too close and we should have waited ( local rule on that hole ) but otherwise everyone very friendly.

Our society played Chilwell today first time we been there.

Pro was brilliant course was well looked after greens in perfect condition. All 11 players said they would come back every week. It’s one golf course we will try and play as much as we can

A very good course with good layout, challenging but not easy to enjoy it with such slow play.. I had to skip some holes just to get ahead of a 5 ball group.

I hadn’t played Chilwell for at least 40 years when I was an Assistant Pro but I remember a well maintained lush course, which is quite the opposite now. I realise we haven’t had good weather through both April & May but Chilwell’s fairways and tees were very poor. Their greens ran well and true but we’re so hard and lacking in colour, they also need attention. Overall extremely disappointed.

The course is in good condition, flat in most places, with a few hazards to avoid and the greens are outstanding. Will definitely play here again.

A nice mixture of holes, some tricky some straight forward .

Good value for money for the price paid .

Would recommend a visit .
