Lovely Course
Played Ruddington a number of times. The narrow tree lined fairways are always intimidating and the greens are in fantastic condition so credit to the green keepers. Always a warm welcome from Ian at the staff shop and friendly members. Not for the feint hearted as a mid to high handicap but will definitely improve your game!
Golf day
Really good course. Very easy for young kids. I played with my 9 yr old and he got on fine
Wanted to review because of the pro specifically. I was late for my tee time and he was incredibly accomodating and made it so easy for me!
Really appreciated it

Ruddington grange
Course in excellent condition, greens a little lumpy but played well.
Donny golf tour
2nd time here just as good as the first time we played here nice welcome from the pro in the shop a 4 ball let go ahead of them which nice of them fairways and greens were in mint condition like last time we played here a brilliant day and the weather was lovely too to boot throughly enjoyed the whole day out thanks ruddington 5 stars from us in donny
Course Much Improved
Played this course a few years ago. Can see all the work put in to improve drainage. considering all the rain we had in Feb & Mar, no sign of trouble anywhere.
George and Luke’s review
Good course good greens well kept nothing wrong with it would play here again
Sunday round
A lovely, challenging course with some interesting holes.
Will definitely play again.
Great Local Course
I am a relative novice and thus nervous about trying new courses alone, but this offer so close to my home was so attractive I thought I’d give it a go. Being a weekday lunchtime it wasn’t too busy and thus I felt no pressure at all completing my first 18 holes at my own pace. The course is pleasantly wooded, with some challenging layouts; ditches and water features but not too challenging to be enjoyable even at my novice standard. Staff and other players were friendly and welcoming too. Recommend.
Great layout, looked after well.
Great layout, looked after well. Fairways on some holes could do with more maintenance and majority of greens in very good keep. Will play again.
Great course however…
Great course but the pace of play was terrible!! A golf society ahead of us played at a terribly slow pace !! Spoilt the round as we had to wait ages at every hole!!
Golf societies/ slow play should be moved along/told to speed up play
Sunday Knock
Driving into the complex you are greeted with the lovely putting area overlooked by outside seating for the bar ...so all good so far.
The facilities are first class off course but unfortunately the course is struggling due to the dry weather we are having. No work has been done to the Tboxes and they are patchy and lacking grass.
The layout is a very typical parkland course and the fairways are very dry and have been cut too short so the grass is burnt and patchy. The greens however save this course as they are immaculate.
Would I play it again ???...maybe in the winter time or we have had a lot of rain.
Lovely Greens
First time playing Ruddington and thought the set up and course was well kept and lovely.
How can you have five people on the same booking time
I was annoyed as a four ball played at the same time which went out before me .I did not know you could book for more than four people.I only did half the round .
Terrible
A tricky course in good condition
We booked as a society a year ago and were given a 13.00 first T time. On the day Rufford had put another society in front of us and put us back 40min. I think the pro shop had an idea we would not be happy with the arrangement when one said to the other"they won't be happy".Not good but at least we were out. The problems then started, the society in front appeared not to have played before and we ended up with a 5hr round, not acceptable. I can't see us coming back as our members were not best pleased.
