About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Not what I expected
Gotta say it's a strange layout but course was in good shape.The staff however was rude and arrogant, felt like I was bothering them by asking the most simple questions... Place left a sour taste in my mouth, maybe ill give it another shot in a few months but for now ill pass

Nice change of pace
Belong to local club, but played Forest Creek on day my club was closed. Enjoyed the layout. I would rate it on upper end of daily fee courses in the area. Challenging Par 3s. Some course knowledge is helpful and GPS assisted a lot.
Awesome well maintained course
The Carts have GPS and are Electric. I was able to hit at least half the holes in regulation. Will be back again. Beautiful course in Texas.

VERY NICE TIME
Staff at all points was fantastic...from check in to cart return! Jeff was really helpful both on the phone prior to booking and after arrival. Nice course and layout, but since it was a new course for me, there were mistakes with club selection, but overall a really a fair and enjoyable layout. Well manicured bermuda greens and fairways and well maintained bunkers.
Sure hope to play it again when I'm next in town!! :-)
Beautiful course
A beautiful course on a beautiful day! Staff is friendly and provides a good service. Seems popular with a lot of people on the course and driving range. Look forward to golfing there soon
Pace of play improving
Pace of play waa better than my previous times here but still closure to 5 hours than 4.

Everything from fairways to greens to bunkers in excellent condition, staff very friendly, highly recommended!!
