Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Great course for the money!
I was looking for a good course for my son in law and I to play. I wasn’t aware of Forest Creek , but I am now. It’s a very strategic course but in very good shape. The pace of play was acceptable and we will be playing this course again.

Great Friday Afternoon
Let’s face it !!! Any day golfing is better than working right???!!! Course had just been readied for the summer months coming so the fairways were a little rough. But Forrest Creek on a Friday afternoon for 37$ is a no brainer ! Always fun , good large greens , cart girl is on point when needed!! Cant go wrong
