Forest Creek Golf Club

The course recently got $5M in renovations and it shows. Course conditions are much nicer and traps and greens are fantastic. We got a sleeve of balls, free range balls, a cup of chili, and a $1 draft beer with our very reasonable greens fee. Hard to beat that deal!

Ranger was upfront about keeping pace of play and they have clocks every few holes showing you if you’re keeping pace. This is great because it avoids the dreaded 5-6 hour round.

Will definitely play here again soon.

Very difficult for the firsts time player. Overall the course in great shape, would highly recommend had a great time

great course but pace of play was horrible! marshal said he ta;lked to folks ND i FEEL HE DID BUT NOTHING WAS DONE. WE HAD A 12:57 t time and didnt get to play but 14 holes.

Having played Forest Creek since it opened, I was eager to see what changes were done. Looks like the holes stayed the same, with all of the changes to the greens and added strategic bunkers to change how you play the hole. Flattening the green on the eight hole made it fairer. A swell was created on 17 which is hidden from the tee box. Greens putted true and are scorable. After the round ordered chicken fingers. What a deal,came with tons of fries. Recommend this course during any specials rates

Has been opened a month after renovation. Greens complexes much improved. Several bunkers eithe moved or added. All bunkers renovated. Greens very nice and good fairways. If you liked it before it is a better course now. If you haven’t played, it is worth playing.

Course condition, pace of place, and overall experience was outstanding. However, I booked a foursome for a total cost (as reflected on my confirmation) of 161.51. I was charged 194.52. Unfortunately I did not review my charge card receipt until much later in the day at my home. So, I bear in-part partial responsibility but I can't have confidence in future on-line bookings if I cannot rely on the green fee quoted AND affirmed by your confirm#321185519. Further, I have searched your website completely and did not discover any manner to contact you by phone other than this review. I urge your company and the local golf courses around the world that it is increasingly difficult to afford to play for a senior, HS & college ages, etc. We (my foursome enjoyed a great day of golf on a nice layout). I hope you don't trash this review and accept it as constructive criticism of reality for your customers. Preserving the game is too important to the golfing community and we all must find better solutions unto that end.

This was my first time playing this course, and it just reopened after extensive renovations a few days before I played it. The course conditions and greens were great, and you can tell that after some additional time for the grass to settle in, this will be a gem of a course. Some challenging doglegs that require careful shot planning and nice par 3s. The one major blemish on the round was pace of play. We finished 18 right at 5 hours, and there were several occasions where two groups ahead of us were also waiting on the tee box. They may need to reduce the number of time slots to help with congestion. All in all a fun round and a course that I'll visit again soon.

Should have been a warning that the course was under repair. Not worth the money for only nine holes.

Pace of play was BAD that day, 5hr round! 4deep on servers holes. Greens are still under recovery with some major dead spots. Nice layout and once greens recovery the course will be worth the green fees.

Overall the course was a good time. Cheap beers, challenging but fun fairways. Only hang up, the greens were washed out a bit. Tough to read. would go back for the price though.

Forest Creek is a great course, or could be. Trees keep you honest and in play. There is significant damage to a few of the greens but they are trying to bring them back. Rest of the course is in good shape. At the price it's a great golf value.

Not sure what happened bit the greens are basically gone! This used to be a premiere course bit no longer.

Greens are coming back, only a handful with significant damage. Fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was wasn’t bad for a Sunday morning, finished in under 4 hrs. Fun layout.

The course is in good shape with exception of greens. Greatly improved over a couple months ago but still have a few in rough shape. The others only had a couple spots on the edge. Staff told me they are sitting course down in November and totally redoing the greens. Not bad especially for an early tee time on the weekend.

Course in pretty good shape overall.. Greens coming back from too much rain in Spring time and Hurricane Harvey. Has some spots on greens that are fungus related . But staff is addressing those issues . In several weeks the greens will look and roll real well.
