Cold, wet & windy with the occasional busts of snow and hail did not detract from the quality and set-up of the course. Considering the conditions the course stood up to the elements very well and we all agreed a return trip was warranted.
Great course with variety of challenges
Always enjoy this course. No two holes are the same meaning you need to pick and choose clubs very carefully. Several challenging par 3s and some quirky par 4s.Despite recent weather the greens were excellent and the fairways well kept. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely clubhouse with excellent facilities.
Playing off mats on tees ruined my game!
Course is in decent nick! Shame about playing off mats on tees! Ruined my game, just can’t get used to them! Other than that, 10th hole is under refurbishment and there is no markers to tell you how far the temporary green is which isn’t very good! Over all not bad! Could be better!
One of the best in the area
This course is one of the best in the area.. played it lots of times never disappointed. Keep ithe standards up guys..

What’s he doing here
Good course and will happily play again. Like all things in life it’s people’s attitudes which are a problem.
To get to the first tee you have to walk past the club house and sat outside were many individuals aged 50+ most of whom gave me a rather quizzical look!! as I walked past.
Having teed off and walking up the first fairway some of those individuals were still looking over at me!! Must of been something to do with me being an Asian man.
If I’d been Vijay Singh or Tiger Woods pretty sure all those same individuals would of been bending over backwards to get my autograph!!
Nice first time. Defo going back.
Challenging course makes you think. Big fairways, tiny greens, rough a bit too long but main course in great condition and greens kept well.

played cleckheaton gold club on the 19/11/17 course was in a fair to good condition for this time of year pritty challenging course, weather was cold but clear day ,staff were very friendly only downside was playing on fairway mats but at this time of year there looking after the course ,its a great course very enjoyable would recommend everyone try it
EXCELLENT GREENS
COURSE WAS EXCELLENT FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
USED FAIRWAY MATS BUT THEY WERE OK. GREENS WERE EXCELLENT. LOVELY ROUND PACE WAS FAST NO HOLD UPS.
Great golf course
Love playing this course and in immaculate condition. Not too many hazards...overall superb
First time playing the course today will defently be back for another round. Everything is well kept for tee boxes , fair ways and the greens are immaculate. The only small issue is that between some of the holes the signs are not that great saying which way to go.the course has a lot of great character

Excellent course with greens in superb condition. Good mix of challenging holes. Course could be further improved by some extra signage between holes and additional fairway distance markers (only 150 yard markers). Would definitely play here again.
Wet and windy
Although the conditions were horrendous the course was excellent, will be back on a better day
Great Course
Booked the course online so it was cheap for the fourball at £17.00 per player. The course and greens were in fantastic condition and some of the holes are quite challenging. The 9th and 10th seem like a bit of an afterthought however this did not take away anything from the excellent course.
Definately one of the best courses in the area (second only to my home course Howley Hall).

All in all credit to the green keepers course in very good condition. lovely layout and not too hilly very good for all abilities.

Lovely course at cleck! Definitely worth a visit! Some challenging holes though!! Course was in great condition apart from a couple of tees which were a bit sparse! Overall good day made even better by the weather!!

Good quality. Course, many varied holes, although a hilly course, you expect it in this region, good value for money through teeofftimes. Definitely will return.
