Excellent despite the rain!
Course was in fantastic condition. Greens were fast and the holes were varied and challenging. Highly recommended

The greens were the best ive played this year and overall the course was in great condition.
My golf
Really enjoyed my round of golf at cleckeaton on Sunday. The greens were in great shape, the layout of the caurse is good. My favourite hole is the 11th with the pond infront of the green. Definitely play again.

Great find just off M62 - classic course
Love discovering great courses and this is certainly a course full of charachter and challenge. Loads of variation in holes with some stunning par 3 holes. Course in fine fettle with exceptional greens after a period of heavy rain. Credit to the clubhouse - very friendly and highly organised with social distancing measures. Only issue was the tough Yorkshire winds that are typical around these parts. Highly recommended.
Oh dear
Usually love this course staff always friendly and course good condition. But never seen so many bad golfers on one golf course with no etiquette and pace of play appalling. Seemed to be taking far too many bookings and even saw a six ball playing in front of us . 5 hours to play a round of golf thanks to so many awful golfers. Such a shame .
In surprisingly good condition despite all the wet weather
Played here today with my brother and the course was in good nick. The greens were particularly good, out of 18 holes their were only two where the ball stopped dead/plugged, unfortunately one of the occasions stopped me from having a hole in one, ball stopped 3 inches short, but such is life... Fairways were decent for the main part too, obviously some boggy parts but it's expected with all the rain we've had. Fairways mats in use, but didn't need that much as I don't tend to hit many fairways. There's a putting green, bunkers to practice chipping out of and some nets aswell too which si great. Paid £16 each for 18 holes on here which I think is great value. The course is a good test for a beginner like me with some narrow fairways and accuracy needed with approach shots. Overall good course and really enjoyed it.
Wow gets in my top ten in the UK !
I had been recommended to this course by others and having played 46 courses in 2019, I wanted to start 2020 with a few new ones. We dropped on the best day so far in 2020 with blazing sun and hardly any wind. Greeted in the pro shop by two friendly guys who showed me around. The course lay out is superb, I love a thinkers course and this one suited me down to the ground. Every other hole could have been a signature hole at some other courses. Conditions were wet under foot, mats were in play but this didn't stop us from posting really good scores. Afterwards we enjoyed some of the nicest food we've had at a course. All round a lovely day of golf at a course which we will certainly return to. Get it on your list, I bet its even more amazing in summer !
Probably the best course in the area, always in decent nick. New improvements to the course have been beneficial, and I won so it was a good day! V good beer in the clubhouse as well
Nice course
Challenging layout but in great shape, some tricky greens and quite quick. Well worth a visit
4 seasons in 1 day
Cold, wet & windy with the occasional busts of snow and hail did not detract from the quality and set-up of the course. Considering the conditions the course stood up to the elements very well and we all agreed a return trip was warranted.
Great course with variety of challenges
Always enjoy this course. No two holes are the same meaning you need to pick and choose clubs very carefully. Several challenging par 3s and some quirky par 4s.Despite recent weather the greens were excellent and the fairways well kept. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely clubhouse with excellent facilities.
Playing off mats on tees ruined my game!
Course is in decent nick! Shame about playing off mats on tees! Ruined my game, just can’t get used to them! Other than that, 10th hole is under refurbishment and there is no markers to tell you how far the temporary green is which isn’t very good! Over all not bad! Could be better!
One of the best in the area
This course is one of the best in the area.. played it lots of times never disappointed. Keep ithe standards up guys..
