Day light robbery

The greens were in decent condition and all course staff were very friendly. Unfortunately these were the only 2 good points I could find to say about this course when I visited.

The first hole was wet through all down the right side of the fairway and approaching the green. The 9th hole in particular was like wading through a swamp so you can imagine how it played.

Tee mats were in play but muddy and damp around most. A lot of damp fairways throughout the course.

I have paid £25.99 to play on a course which I believe should not have been open or at least there should have been a considerable discount to do so.

I was informed that the 10th hole was unplayable and so I had to walk down a muddy track and through a wood, a proper long treck to get to the 11th yet another damp hole.

Winter Golf at The Manor

Friendly staff who briefed me on course seasonal limitations and hired me a suitable winter buggy as I’m from out of town. Pace of play was excellent never felt user pressure or rushed. Some grounds staff were hanging around the green on approach was the only real issue. Needs to stair my clubs whilst I used the clubhouse facility which is very good! The club shop staff arranged for my equipment to go into the locker room whilst I used the bar which, a great gesture.

Manor Golf Course

I played here on a wet and windy day. I still managed to have fun. This course offers a challenge and also offers some brilliant views. A good walks spoiled is not the case here as you have the time to take everything in. I particularly enjoyed the very challenging par 5 holes which I somehow managed to find par on each one. Great course would definitely recommend I can’t wait to go back again.

Still good

3rd time playing. Obviously with the weather the course was dry, the ponds empty but still great. I do really like the course. Great mixture of holes and nice layout. I'm finding that I like it more each time I play.

Excellent course in great condition with amazing greens to fully test your skills.

The course was in amazing condition and the grounds team should be very proactive of their upkeep. Course is challenging but fair. greens are amazing and there is hardly any straight putt from more than two meters.

Bacon buttie delicious and staff so friendly and attentive.

Some interesting holes

1st time playing here, excellent facilities, driving range, 9 holer course & club house. The 18 hole championship course was in fantastic nick some great risk & reward holes especially the 18th walking back up to the clubhouse with bunkers surrounding the green. Would definitely call back & gave it a thumbs up for our society to try next year 👍

Great again

Played the course yesterday for the 2nd time. It was great to play it with a work mate who was a member there 25+ years ago. He loved how much it had developed with tree growth and the change of layout.

The course was in great condition with lovely but fast greens. We were held up a bit by slow players but still enjoyed the day!

Will definitely go back.

Cold wet windy day

Good course spoilt by the weather, had a slow 4 ball in front of us which made it a long afternoon, wouldn’t have minded waiting if it was better weather! Course holding up okay but very wet in places
