Nice course and very welcoming
First time I have played here and a bit shorter than I am used to but accuracy seems to be the key. Thought the 12th was an excellent hole and would challenge any one! Very friendly welcome in the shop / bar. Would be a great society course and looked a nice place to stay. Quiet and greens were in good condition. Downside would be the bunkers but OK. Good value
Slow-cooking!
Some very slow play spoiled this round on the hottest day of the year.
As with previous visit the fairways were in good condition but the tee boxes were like my lawn. Greens seemed to have been suffering in the whether but that is understandable.
Having struggled to navigate the first time I played I bought a course guide this time, but although it was quite glossy it wasn’t very good - just one point was picked in each hole for distance, some of the holes were confusing.
I imagine I’ll go back for more of my hot deal rounds later in the year, but hopefully with a better pace of play.
A mixed bag but good outing.
A pleasant course with a few interesting holes, including an island green and some tricky dog-legs. Overall condition was good but the tees were pretty poor, much worse than the fairways. This was odd as everything else was in good condition. It did not impact my enjoyment of the round. A good use of my monthly hot deal and I’ll be looking to go back.

Some greens are shocking
The course was a straight forward course nothing really interesting up one fairway and then back down the other fairway, all in all the course was ok but some of the greens were shocking, holes on the green which had not been repaired, one green must have had at least 70 to 80 patches on it where they had re seeded it, it was impossible to putt without going over dirt. Do the right thing put a temporary green in and re turf the whole green! The cost of the round was in my opinion to much with the condition of some of the greens £18 to £20 would be about right.
Friendly staff and a great course.
A real joy to play, the staff are friendly and the sausage sandwiches were good also. What more could you want?
