Lovely setting, good amenities and a flat course surrounded by lakes and rivers. However due to it being offered at very cheap weekend rates it is full to the rafters and extremely slow to play, with no on course management. Drinking during a round seems to be the norm and encouraged (more sales over the bar). The place needs to have stricter rules, have a starter marshal in place and encourage better golfers instead of anyone in a pair of jeans and tee shirt who fancies a knock about. But to be honest Wyboston Lakes doesn’t really care as it’s just a way to put money through their tills.
It’s a real shame as could be so lovely.
