Enjoyed another round at Cookridge. Superb course conditions & layout. Loved it!
Great course in beautiful setting
A very good course in great condition. Hope to be back to visit again soon, the 6th is a great test of nerve!
Pace only average but that was due to a comp we were told about. Greens have been worked on so we knew they wouldn't be as good as they normally are. The only issue was to do with quite a few of the tee not been in good condition, playing off the yellows.
We will visit again
First time played at Cookridge & loved it. Really great layout & superb greens. Looking into membership
Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. Very beautiful holes & immaculate greens.
Cracking, quite challenging course
Really enjoyed the round. A little more challenging with more out of bounds on the front 9 than a few others at a similar price in the area. Greens played very well, noticeably quicker than a few in Leeds and a cracking outdoor sitting area with great service. Pace was a little slow but we were a 2 ball with 2x 4 balls in front and not bad enough to be annoying. One green had a few holes in it, not entirely sure what made them but overall, the course was in great condition. Will definitely play again
If you live in Leeds you're spoilt for choice for great places to play, some expensive, some not so. Like many clubs in Leeds, Cookridge suffers in the wet weather where the fairways can get very boggy, but the greens are always in good condition. In summer however it's a lovely course for all levels helped by the fact it's considerably longer off the back tees if you like the challenge. It has some lovely holes, especially the par 3's and the short par 4 18th. One big draw is the driving range which other places don't, making it great for a warm up before you play. Staff are always super friendly and the pro shop well stocked. Bar is nice too.
great course really enjoyed the round. not knowing the course we didn't have a hole map so not sure where the ins was on some oles and some of the signage or lack of after finishing putting was a bit lacking. but we found the tees in the end :)
