Tough Course for Beginners
This Course isn't long by any stretch but its not an easy course if your a beginner
First hole has an intimidating T shot and 3rd and the notorious 5th are like climbing Everest
First Par comes along on hole 8 and its a uphill long one , the 9th is even longer Par 3 but downhill a bit
In Autumn it suffered badly with Fairway and Greens covered in leaves , made every hole seem twice as long to complete , hard work
Municipal course so many holes have no flags but Greens are not too bad
Price for Seniors is about £ 14 anytime and £ 7 for anybody after 12 on a Friday which is ridiculously good value
Lucky to have this and City Golf on my doorstep
Going into Autumn
Played here Monday morning, lots of leafs about so quite difficult to find balls off of the fairways,hopefully winds will get up and start to clear them, greens okay for the time of year,some a bit wet though,bunkers need serious work to get them up to scratch. All round good value for £9.50 for senior and £11.00 normal price,£5.00 after 12.00 Monday to Friday for all.
