Four Start Four Ball
This can be quite a tricky course for a weekend hacker like myself. You are not going to find many flat lies on this course. I felt like every hole was playing uphill or downhill. Even so its a very well kept and enjoyable course. I paid online and when we arrived, the club shop was closed so we reported to the bar. They told us where to tee-off and get a scorecard so off we went. Easy enough but Very little interaction to say whether the staff are friendly or not
Woodhall Hills Golf Course
Played for 18 with another member game it was both her first time of course was good good condition. Green is nice beautiful sunny day coast still dry out. It’s very busy lots of young people which is good.. lots of heels as you would expect, especially after the 14th Ben Nevis climb😂😂! Needs a few ball cleaners/ball washing stations especially as it gets busy. Fairways good conditions, very forgiving but they will be a lot more tricky when the course dries out. Greens very good conditions with variable pins placement. Bar amenities very nice very friendly definitely we will play again in the next coming weeks.
Stone bridges on to some of the greens
Decent medium sized course . Fairly easy greens . We did play from the T boxes and will be even better soon as the real tees are back in play . The club house Hot Beef and gravy and Steak Canadian with a pint went down a real treat . Cheers . Me and my lad will be back
Great course
Course was excellent very well kept, challenging holes, club house was really nice lovely food and friendly staff
Nice course but needs some work
Woodhall Hills is a nice if challenging course and we played after a few days of heavy rain. This was reflected in some bare and muddy areas with some localised flooding. Some of the pins were actually full of water and the tee boxes needed some basic attention but none the less we really enjoyed our round.
Lovely day lovely round
Never played here before, so was looking forward to the day. Course is well looked after & has a up & down terrain which I like. What I didn’t like was a lot of fairways were sloping left or right, which basically meant for me anyway that my ball would end up in most cases rolling to the far left or right of the fairway & ultimately in the rough, but apart from that it was a nice challenging course. I always say you should play a course 2-3 times before deciding whether it’s for you or not, so I will defo give it another go.
Great layout
Lovely course. Greens spot on, Tee boxes need a bit of tlc but apart from that great course 👍🏼
Lots of hills
The names in the title Woodall Hills. Not you flat fairway. The course layout is really good, and the greens fantastic. But as a pensioner, we found it hard work up and down.
Pleasant Game of Golf
Played Saturday afternoon, it was nice and quiet. The course was well maintained, greens were fast and true.
Course gets a little compact thru 6th to 12th
We enjoyed the experience
Great test
I always enjoy coming up to Woodhall Hills. The layout is really varied and challenges every aspect of your game. There are some superb holes! You can see how hard the greenkeepers work to maintain the course and make it playable throughout the year. The course is also great value for money.
Woodall hills
Course in good condition as holds water when it starts to get wet, all greens open
Woodhall Hills
A very nice course. Although it hadn’t rained recently the course was wet in places. The greens were in excellent condition. The course is on the side of a hill so lots of uphill and downhill hole and playing the ball above or below the feet.
Excellent kept course
Really enjoyed this course, shame we only got to 5TH hole are it absolutely hammered it down with rain n had to leave but what we played I enjoyed & would come back
Excellent course
Excellent course very friendly members and staff course was in very good condition and had a great day sat nav sends you down a very uneven unkept road try to go around on the main road
Woodhall golf
The course was in great condition with the greens running fast and the fairways nice and short, not an easy course but testing to all levels great day out with my sons
