Dainton Park Golf Club

The course was in good condition but the pace of play was ridiculously slow, yes there was a function on but they were well clear before my slot. Another bug bear of mine at the moment is the amount of discarded tees laying around on the tee boxes……. There are plenty of bins around…… why are these not picked up and put in the bin…..and even more annoying….. most were plastic aswell!! There were hundreds around the course…… I had time to pick a few up due to the slowness of the round!!!

Great afternoon's golf on a really super course - first round here & shot 4 under par (after handicap). Think hiring a buggy helped. Will play here again.

A great welcome in the pro-shop set the trend for a very pleasant days golf.

Very helpful pro who gave good advice including to make use of the clubhouse after we played. The course was excellently turned out with lush fairways and good greens. The light lunch we had was also very good, especially considering the competitive price.

All in all a very enjoyable day and a big thumbs up from us (man playing off 10 and lady off 34).

Great course to add to your bucket list if you have not played it before. Not one hole is the same which makes it challenging specially the ones where there is water,

I booked to play here as the reviews were so good and highlighted how friendly the staff and members were. I was not disappointed one little bit. Due to recent wet weather, only 14 holes were open; the pro was very helpful and pleasant in highlighting the holes which were open and the best way to navigate around the course. I had a quick visit to the range which was excellent, and then made my way to the 5th tee; the starting hole for the day. I was greeted by 3 members; Peter, Marty and Sarah, who were about to tee off. They invited me to go ahead as I was on my own. I could see the course was full, so I told them I was fine and in no hurry, at which point they invited me to join up with to go around as a group of four. We had a fabulous round; I couldn’t have wished for a more pleasant group of playing partners. The course is very interesting with a good variety of challenging holes. I stopped for a coffee afterwards which was very pleasant as well. All I all a fabulous course.

Play in front was to slow tee off was 215 so only played to hole 15 as 5 o'clock was pitch black shame as I was having a good round the course was in excellent condition with just a few temporary tee offs all the greens was in play
