Good order
Good course and conditions, bunkers were flooded on some holes. Slow group of 4 in front of us meant very slow pro so we only played 12 holes.
Davenport 4 Ball
Course was in excellent condition considering it was Mid-October, with the fairways running well and the greens an absolute pleasure to play on, extremely fast and consistently true, I imagine in summer the greens are like lightening. Hollow-tining of the fairways was underway and selective tree maintenance, however this did not detract from the quality of the course for us. Some great holes on this undulating parkland course and it aesthetically looked wonderful, with manicured fairways and well placed bunkers on the fairways and surrounding the greens. Compliments to the Ground Staff and Davenport Golf Club, who are doing a great job and I hope to be back soon
Thoroughly good day
We played Davenport today and must admit that it was very good indeed. The only negatives were that some of the tee's were set well forward, presumably due to winter closing in. Almost all fairways are tree laden and if you are in the tree's you invariably can not make the green with your second. Drive strait and the perfect fairways invite you to attack the flag. Most courses have a few poor holes (Don't have any character and have had to be squeezed in to make 18). But not here. I can not think of a single bad hole.Greens are excellent, as are the tees. Long holes, short holes, left to right and right to left, it has everything. Just make sure you are straight. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

A very enjoyable course, with a good mix of distances. Able to achieve a good score, but will need to play a clever game

I have played a few times at Davenport. Impressed with the overall condition of the course, especially for this time of year. A pleasure to play.

Lovely course that I used to be s member of. Always enjoy a round here and was in great condition considering the heavy rain we've had over the last few weeks.
