What a pity it was wet.
A really pleasant course that was suffering from the wet conditions. Very boggy and wet. Foot sunk up to ankle in soft ground at one point. Lots of fairway water, abnormal ground, teeing mats and leaves. No run due to boggy conditions, lost balls in fairway, soft greens. Would be a different course in the summer and a pleasure to play. Not much fun in the wet. Felt really welcome by the staff. The two members that were following us made it clear that we were no welcome by them as they refused to speak and kept standing with hands on hips. We were going to let them through until we realised how ignorant they were. Would recomend it be played in summer and when not been raining.
Good value
Good course in great condition. Some challenging holes with narrow drives off the tee into wide fairways. Tee boxes a bit tight in places.
Great Day Out
Played the course before and have always enjoyed the layout, clubhouse and friendly staff. Weather was very kind only slight downside was the greens were very slow but early in the year
First time
Great course in Good condition for the time of year in December.Greens in awesome condition & in summer will be fast.Me & my mate are thinking of joining the course next year.Very nice clubhouse to finish your round off,with friendly staff.
A Fair Challenge
Everyone at Denton was very friendly and welcoming. The course provided a fair test and is in established parkland. Following several days rain there were some puddles but generally the course was in good condition.
