Brookdale Golf Club

Don’t like leaving negative reviews but was really disappointed by Brookdale. Should have got the hint when the practice green was like putting on a rugby pitch.Tees were in horrendous condition no grass on 90% Greens really suffering lots of bare patches. Fairways were neither here nor there. Great layout and some really good holes especially the par 3 but condition like a municipal course if not worse. Sorry couldn’t recommend.

Great playing here, solo player ended up playing with 2 very welcoming members even though I explained I was amateur.

Pace of play was fine when we bunched together as there was a set off ladies who took a little longer, however really nice to talk too.

Staff were nice and was great to have a drink in the sun on the balcony after a challenging round

Course great still on winter tees atm some greens patchy but played before in midsummer and it’s a great knock

We played in freezing conditions and it was great fun. Although the greens were solid all greens were open and the course looked in great condition. I used to be a member so it was good to come back and stretch the legs around a stunning course

Played alone for this one and had a really good game, greens were good, really nice course.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Brookdale GC. There are a few blind shots especially off of some of the tees, which made it interesting for me seeing as I have not played there before. A lot of the fairways have quite a slope on them, which didn’t help my with my hooky swing. The staff are very friendly, and facilities are good. If you struggle walking, you definitely need a buggy as it’s quite hilly in places.

Only problem we had we could not find the red tee on the 18th hole .

Went back after a drink and found it , we saw a deer on the bridge beautiful sight .

We hope to be back soon .

Always enjoy Brookdale,a good test yesterday because it was quite windy.the greens are in great condition,very fast,highly recommended.good food in the lounge too.

Played every golf course in the area apart from here over the years.

Thought I would give Brookdale a go and what a great decision.

Staff in pro shop were great.

The course is excellent and in great condition.

There are some really challenging holes especially on the back nine.

It did help that there weren't that many players on the course but it's great value for money and we will definitely visit again.
