Dukinfield Golf Club

Lovely course, recovering well from winter, great views across to the city on the front 9 and out to the Peak District on the mid holes.

After the torrential downpour the north of England had yesterday the course is in great condition. As always the greens was very fast and very true. Very tricky today as it was very windy but overall a great round.

Dukinfield is probably the better of the lot across Tameside, super fun and interesting course especially when you cross over.

Lots of different sorts of holes and shapes needing different shots on each tee instead of pounding driver 300 yards.

Would recommend to play always.

Played on a sunny Sunday afternoon, not busy so a relaxed afternoon. A little hilly in parts but not too bad. We are mid to high handicappers so the course was very interesting without being too challenging but accuracy off the tee is needed on some holes which are less forgiving. Whilst the greens were in very good condition we found them difficult to read which probably says more about us than anything. After a very enjoyable round we sat on the balcony with a “refresher” and watched the sun start to go down. What’s not to like?

First time played, although a little hilly in parts a fabulous course with many interesting holes, fairways and bunkers in tip top condition, greens were excellent

tee shots for position. Par 3 second is tough. 16th is picturesque.

Me and 4 friends played Dukinfield yesterday. We have played most of the courses round Manchester but this is up there. Will definately be playing it again.. The staff where really friendly

Really enjoyed a great morning’s golf. Greens & fairways really nice, a few of the tee boxes a little bare (but under repair). Some interesting holes, overall very good, would definitely play again.

Having never played the course before, we tee’d up after a week of really nice weather, expecting really fast fairways and faster greens. We were pleasantly surprised by the great course condition and layout. The green keeping staff have obviously taken great effort to ensure it’s in great nic.

Found the layout interesting & challenging, will be coming back again soon!

Also, unbelievable pint of Guinness in the clubhouse - worth coming for that alone.

all fine ok no problem. But No. 16 hole was closed. we missed there in Dukinfield golf club. so happy continuing to play golf. thanks prakash

Excellent greens, very well maintained course with some tricky holes for the average player

Booked a 10.30 tee time. A frosty morning but you can't book the weather. No winter greens in play, but mats and only 14 holes open. Greens weren't the best as the had recently been sliced so were bobbly. Would advise you check with pro shop on condition and playing restrictions before booking. Last 2 bookings have been quite disappointing.

I’ve played here quite a few times now but yesterday was particularly disappointing. Only 16 holes available one because they are relaying the drainage into the Green which I can fully accept the other one. Nothing wrong with it a part four which was made into a path three so shortening the course a lot.

Now the positives the greens were in absolutely fantastic condition for the time of year
