Great course, great pace of play but this has got the be the hilliest place in the world. 11 hole course. Few holes weren’t labelled very well so sort of had to work out the course ourselves. Would definitely play again in the summer but would want a buggy 1000%

One of the easier courses i have played, good value for money during the week, but wouldn't like to play it at weekend as you would be queuing on some holes as 5 holes you place twice seeing its only a 13 hole course

Great course considering only 11 holes. Staff really friendly and members welcoming and assisted letting us know about the slightly confusing design. Definitely recommend

Lovely course can just be abit slow if you get caught playing on a hole as it’s only an 11 hole course so some holes are played twice

A fun course where I was made to feel very welcome. playing on my own I was offered to join a group of members.

The course was interesting with lots of blind shots up to hole 12, then it replays the first 6 holes with slightly different tee positions.

Great course with some challenging holes. Greens were in great condition, middle 3 holes are a bit of a night are but some fun holes also here. Excellent value and will be back again

having played W.L annually over the past 5-8 years with our Saturday morning 4 ball, we have finally learnt how to play this gem of a golf course. it is one of the few courses that makes you take on the correct shot because if you bail you fail! On the 4th, you have to hit your tee shot over the trees and the hazard to have any chance of hitting the green. unless you are a big hitter, lay up on the S.I. 1. take a mid iron onto the plateau on the 9th giving you a shot at the green.

the list goes on... no doubt you will ignore the advice and try to overpower what looks on paper an easy course, you`ll learn!

Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Very friendly reception from the pro & the members we came across. Course was challenging especially in the wind. Suggest you take a buggy if you are not up for the hills. Stunning views made the climbs worth it. Bit of a log jam on the 1/12 but didn’t spoil our enjoyment. We will be going back.

Course was as usual well maintained. You won't get better views anywhere else in Manchester. Great little course and a work out for the legs at the same time...
