Drayton Park Golf Club - Drayton Park Course

Great course layout, greens were large and undulating but rolled well and true, just don’t get on the wrong side of the pins, as I think the greens keeper was not having a good week!! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Green fees were a bit pricey but worth a visit now and then.

Very slow so had to abandon after 11 holes took 3 hours. Was playing as a single and never called through and no marshalls to challenge pace of play. 5- 10 minute wait on every tee.

Very nice and interesting track. Lots of water etc. Will definitely play there again.

£16.99 for a round is not too bad. Annoying however that when I turn up I’m told I can’t use my trolley as it does not have winter tyres on. I have to pay £5 for one of their trolleys. No mention of this requirement on GN, the club website or FB pages. The course was pretty average with some terrible tees. There condition was awful. Fairways were mostly good and greens could be better. Some of the cups were just sticking out above the green by a mm or two in a couple of places. If I was paying £25 I wouldn’t be happy but as I paid £16.99 I can’t complain.

Excellent condition, was not expecting course to be in good condition, due to all the rain in recent weeks, but had a great day, I was impressed with condition as other courses were not fully open in the area, well done to the green keepers, 😁😁😁😁😁😁

The course was in good condition considering the weather we have experienced

The greens were true and the bunkers were playable

The only negative was the speed of play on the back 9 it was a joke I think maybe there was a society playing and 2 four balls at the back had zero etiquette regarding speed of play. Not once did they even consider calling anybody through and marking the scorecards on the greens…say no more!!!!! Not necessarily a fault of the club but these society days should be monitored

Ruined what would have been an excellent round of golf

Paid for 8 tee times on golf now, and was then directed to pay at course.

Still golf now took my £1 for each golfer charge, when they didn’t need to.

So the round cost me £8 more than if I would of paid at the course

Warm reception, good directions around course and course in good condition. Lengthy walks between some greens to tee boxes the only negative

The course and staff were brilliant but the greens left much to be desired. Appreciate they were under repair but was like playing on a beach at times.

I have to saybibwas taken back by how good the greens were and the general course condition BUT beware i am not sure if this is always the case but the pace of play was hurrendous, for the first time ever i had to walk off. A marshall looking guy came round in a buggy who done nothing. Playing as a 2 ball ibwould have maybe expected some of the 4 balls who were holding up the course to invite us through but no. I am sure this is not the case all the time but it ruined it for me

Drayton golf course in tip top condition,, greens excellent , fairways good as well, overbooked thou and pace of play , the worst.To many people on the course
