Impressive condition

I was very impressed with the condition of the course especially considering the recent weather we have had. Only had a few shots plug and even got some decent bounce and roll on some shots

Should have trolley bans

Course itself is not too bad at all, greens are good, especially this time of year, but they really should have a trolley ban or even close the course for a bit, in a lot of places it's so badly waterlogged and cut up from trolleys that it could take weeks of good dry weather before it recovers, such a shame.

I would play again but not till the middle of summer

Great greens

Nice course , if you keep the ball in play you can score quite well.

Long par 5's.

Only downside was the amount duck muck around most of the course.

Long queue on 1st tee

There was a long queue on first tee due to over subscription. The guy said it's because he does get messages from tee off times. This ruined the day. Loved the course itself but was dissapointed to have booked a tee time, waited 30 mins to tee off and feel pressured all the way round as a result.

Course in great nick. But new bloke in pro shop a wally.

Course was in best nick I've ever seen it absolutely rapid and bouncy really in need of good control to score well. But they've recently employed someone new in the pro shop and he is absolutely terrible. They had confirmed my tee off time yet when I arrived at schedule time I had 4 4 balls infront of me all waiting on the tee box and they wouldn't let me play through as they were in a competition between themselves. Asked if I could start on the 9th got told no chance previous there have let me. After 3-5 35 min holes I jumped over to another bit of the course and played 8 more before it was dark. Ruined my round and wasted my day someone else should be put in charge

Good day at cloudy Eccleston

The course is in good condition and very enjoyable round for our 3 ball. The pace is important so don't be looking for balls beyond a look see! Nice par 5 challenge and you will do well to par. Slight concern that the course is up for sale seeing some of the "Save our golf course" signs about. Our party will return in the summer and sample the19th club stop this time.

Spring review

Course looked like it has had a lot of use in the wet weather of the last few weeks with mud patches on parts of fairway.greens ok bunkers are bad with compacted sand in most.
