Played Sunday course coming on the greens getting better every week new tees being built lake has been shaped fairways nice nice course to play on amazing views cowshed afterwards for some nice food will play again as local to me spoke to owner and is ploughing lots of money into the course going to be amazing when done.

I wished we had read the reviews before we booked. The condition of the course was terrible. The greens were un playable with every one having large bear patches. the course has had little or no maintenance over the last few months. We followed what we think was a large society so play was a quite slow on the back nine. We understand the club house has been sold and is now a Nursery with the new club facilities called the COW SHED !!! need we say more.

Went out in light rain, walked in after 4 holes. Greens were some of the worst I've seen - no point trying to putt on them due to bumps and lack of grass. Significant improvement needed.

Played Frodsham yesterday. I thought the layout out and the location of the course was excellent. The course will be really good when they fix the greens (which were really poor). It was very busy so the pace was a little slow going at first but improved during the round. It looks like they are making improvements to the course so would like to play again in a few months. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be going back when the greens have improved.

The course itself is great but the greens let it down, we were told to give it 6-8 weeks and they will back up to scratch along with new tees. There does seem to be work happening and will return to play in the near future.

We really enjoyed the day again! Great value for money - good to see lots of improvements taking place on the course with new tees, and nice new lake on the 18th! Course is starting to take shape again.

Played there last year. Was very impressed with course and service. Booked last minute on golf now. Arrived it the club and was greeted by a gentleman in a temporary shed / office. Was informed that green is not in good condition due to disease and supposedly this is reflected in the price!!! Car park in poor condition due to some kind of renovation work. Course was in a very poor state. Fairways have just been cut and looked like a meadow with long grass cutting everywhere. Green was the worst that I have ever seen. The warning should be made clear when booking cos it spoilt my day. The owners should consider closing the course as this will certainly damage the good reputation that the club had and reopen when the course is fit for purpose. Disappointing day.

New tees lots happening just joined the club unbelievable value all year round golf.

played here last year and the course has drastically gone downhill since. Greens are an absolute joke and is pointless trying to putt on them.

Spoke to some members today who said they are cancelling thier membership, and looking to go elsewhere as membership prices have increased without notice. The Club Pro has left, and the course is on a downward slope. Needs to get someone in to run it properly as this usednto be one of the best courses in the area.

Overall the greens were in a very poor Condition. Several were very bare of grass and those that were covered with grass were often uneven making putting a lottery. On several fairways grass cuttings had not been removed

I could not believe the state of this course it was a disgrace!!! Can’t believe they are still charging £19 to play here would not pay 19p it was terrible

Absolutely despicable the greens are horrendous you would be better trying to putt in the car park. Fairways are alright. Sign posts for the next tees are non existent really. Can’t believe how they have the audacity to charge £17 won’t return again

Played today lots of changes in the last two weeks 18th lake has been renovated they are building new tees the starter said they are redesigning two holes also with a course architect paid £17.50 good value
