Excellent post work round. Friendly welcome as always followed by another good round. Marked improvement on bunkers. Fairway to green challenging and most holes ask a different question The 16th is a hole worthy of any course. A bit of patience and this course will be able to hold it’s own against most in the area.

Fairways immaculate greens getting better but bumpy

The course is in a very poor state. If I had not driven an hour to playi would not have stayed for 15 holes. This is only the 3rd time I have walked off a course due to the conditions.

Many tee boxes are temporary and poor; sloping etc. Fairways were mostly ok , apart from odd places. The greens are dreadful. If you had these on a local pitch and putt you would ask for your money back. This was once a good golf day out. I couldn’t think of a reason for going back.

Has been a nice course in the past but is declining. The greens are terrible and badly in need of some maintenance. Fairways just about ok but plenty weeds sprouting on them throughout the course. This course could still be great but is badly in need of some tlc.

We were on the course for around 4 hours and didnt see one green keeper working which sums up the problem really.

Course looks like it’s having a lot of work done to it and in a year or two may be back to a good standard but the bunkers were full of weeds and hardly any sand also the greens were in a poor state

Played today course really coming on the weather was awful heavy rain the course stood up well just the clubs too wet to continue and me and my golf partner came in after 7 holes but course really playing well the man in the starters hut was very Accommodating will be back soon for

Good steady progress being made around the course. Green keepers working hard trying to restore the course to former glory. Fairways well cut and rough provides a stiff challenge.

Yes, the greens need work but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment of a £17.50 round of golf. I believe a bit of patience and support will ensure this course will be a must visit.

"Played at the course today completed the first 9 holes,and then the weather turned so nasty with a heavy down pour and could not complete the back 9 holes had to give up 5 holes and end the day was playing well absolutely gutted".

Such a pity this used to be a smashing course with a great clubhouse, sadly clubhouse has been sold to a day care centre so no we’re to get a drink or anything to eat. The greens were in a terrible I’ve played pitch and put greens that were better. It was such a shame played this about 3 years ago and it was great with great facilities

fantastic views, fairways excellent, greens bumpy and mossy, bunkers overgrown with grass. Signs of work being done to improve course but nothing seems to change.

Has the ability to be a really great course. Greens were similar standard to a municipal and some of the bunkers were unplayable. You can see with a bit of time and money spent it could become one of the best courses in the area

Fairways in great condition. New tees currently being constructed can’t wait to return once the new tees are complete.

What a day - fun, pleasure and great value! The course is getting better by the day - fairways beautifully cut, a lot of work being done on the greens, bunkers being treated, but a few tees now need seeing to! Four of us had a ‘fab’ day out... and only for £16.50 each! (hope the attached photo gets printed)! Thanks FGC... we will be back soon!

Considering the challenges over the last 12 months this place has held up nicely and the course is in good condition. The only issue we had on the day was constantly waiting for another game to chip back onto their own fairway (or sometimes carry on playing down ours) due to the compact way the course is laid out. We did use someone else's fairway on one occasion too so we're not blameless in this!

Often play here and a few local courses but frodsham is by far

Nice round but every tee box there was 2 or 3 groups waiting. But in terms of the course it was decent, greens were grim though
