Lack of a clubhouse could deter people as it's now a nursery.

The course is going through alot of changes ..so can only review on todays round.. Got lost a few times trying to find tee boxes ..especially coming off the 9th green ..nearly sent my next tee shot down the 15th !!! overall the greens are bad apart from 3 or 4 ...Did see alot of golfers not replacing divots ..which really annoys me ..also the bunkers are shocking ..no rakes anywhere and very overgrown ..will play again when the course is in better condition ..will wait and see ?

Nice course with some great holes and amazing views. Yes, there is work being carried out and you aren’t playing off the original tees on some holes, but lockdown has meant the course has been closed and taken no income. I don’t understand comments from other players about the state of the course. If a cafe closed during lockdown, it is in the same condition when they open their doors again. Grass needs care and treatment everyday, which is hard when you have no golfers paying to play.

Another great value for money day out. Fairways great, greens receptive, views amazing - and, fellow players friendly and having fun! It will be really good again when all the landscaping is finished. Thanks FGC for your help with us - much appreciated!

Great to see this course on its way back to where it should be, fantastic layout and views, plenty of work being carried out on the course with vast improvements on the greens, grass coverage and growth both looking good with continued investment in the course it is only going to get better, good luck to all involved in getting this great course back to where it should be.

Considering this round was played on the opening day after lockdown in March 2021, I was plesantly suprised with what I found. Enormous amounts of topsoil are an eyesore but it is still a good par 70 golf course. It's a quality track, albeit the bunkers were poor and the greens slow, the course itself is still very playable.

No facilities, quite a lot of ground under repair and greens very unpredictable as each green was in a different state to the last.

The course is in the middle off being upgraded, the greens are better than last year, the fairways are in good condition, I would go back and play Frodsham I would like to see the course come to what it used to be

Massive improvement from last year. Pleasently pleased, still ongoing improvement on course. Defo worth a round

Course is in ok condition but with lots of work going on, everywhere still being cut back from the winter and greens still recovering from last year but can see a big improvement, not putting the best but lots more grass coming through which you can see. Where else can you play for this price? Will be back next week and would recommend. Looking forward to the summer

Course played ok, long in places and greens not always running true but overall can’t complain for the price. Big improvement from last year and look forward to seeing it improve come the summer. Worth a visit

Still lots of work going on all around the course, didn’t expect the course to be perfect after winter and lockdowns etc. Greens big improvement from last year and glad to see them improving. Can’t wait for the summer for when everything’s growing and continues to improve
