A real asset to the area
Recently started playing golf and this is my favourite course to play in the hull area so far. Great layout for beginners and kept in fantastic condition. Will be returning again.
Over all quite disappointed, very poor bunkers, greens mostly ok, but small weed like cabbages on all greens. Very scruffy uneven teeing areas. Course is mostly straight the first 5 are the highlight, but the last 4 are about as boring as you can get.
Bit slow
Course gets a bit crammed so pace is slow and the lizard in the pot shop was a bit busy and paranoid
Worth playing at the right price
Poor customer service
Would avoid this course at all costs, unless you enjoy being looked down on by the club pro. Horrible little man with 0 customer service skills. Never makes you feel welcome regardless of how polite you are to him, always got a problem unless you’re a member.
We tried to book over the phone and he asked for me to pay a 4ball there and then because he was leaving at 16:30, I said I couldn’t pay all 4 and that we will book online once we know what time we’re playing and can each do it individually. When we turned up to the course he was still there luckily, but claimed we was ‘sneaking on’ and proceeded to point in our faces and say ‘get in here now and pay’ absolutely disgusting,
Course is good apart from the repairs they’ve had to do after altering a couple of holes, rather than level the ground out they’ve just thrown a load of turf down that you can’t really play from.
Poor customer service
pro shop guy very rude and passive aggressive to my mate on arrival....his attitude is disgusting towards peolpe who coming for around of golf looking to enjoythem.self ...there is no need to talk to peolpe the way he does....will not be returning if that's the welcome you receive...
Poor customer service
Play here a fair amount normally, but the welcoming you get each time seems to be getting worse and worse. Guy who runs the pro shop has a stupidly large chip on his shoulder and thought tonight the correct way to address his customers was to point in their faces and proceed to say ‘get in here and pay now’, nothing professional at all about him and needs some lessons on customer service and manners.
Course is in ok condition apart from the big lumps of turf just thrown on top of damaged spots not levelled in or anything.
We won’t be returning here again unfortunately, unless they get someone in who knows how to communicate like an adult!
Very good
Loved playing at Ganstead , only small issue was waiting for people in front as they was waiting for people in front of them as we reached 13th hole. So finished at 16th as waiting to long . Otherwise great course
Greens in top condition
Had a great afternoon at ganstead with some lovely golf being played greens were nice conditions were great all in all a cracking course
