Grange Fell Golf Club

Beautiful course with well kept fairways and greens, it’s very hilly which makes for a challenge but a little short so for those can aim a 250yard well you have good chance of hitting some greens in one, lots of blind holes which I liked!

The course was in excellent condition and its not a long course though the wind made it tougher than I anticipated. The views over morecambe Bay and the lake district fells are stunning . A great bonus when playing the course . Everyone was friendly who we met on the course. I will probably play again in a few days .

What a beautiful golf course, I have played all over the world and never seen views that come close to what you can see from most of the course. I’m not as fit as I should be so 9 was enough on those hills, Course was in excellent condition and up until the 6th I didn’t see another person. I loved it so much I told my partner I would move in with her as she lives local 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely stunning and deffo my Saturday morning round of golf for the foreseeable.

Played the course for the first time and played 18 holes. As it is a 9 hole course you can learn a lot from the first 9 to give more consideration to repeating the holes for the back 9.

It was very wet when I played, although the course itself was in really good condition. Some of the holes are quite short which fooled me into thinking they would be easy, however as it is a hilly/fell course, some of the holes are tiered and slope away and a wayward tee shot can see a ball role onto an adjacent fairway.

Interesting, challenging & I’ll definitely play there again.

Lovely 9 hole course with breathtaking views throughout!

Course suitable for players off all abilities.

With the 9 hole layout can be waiting behind groups at time but not much of an issue when you pass time looking at the scenery on offer!

An enjoyable round with stunning views in most directions. Due to recent rainfall it was preferred lies and a few greens were very soft , some tricky sloping lies if you're off the fairway , I would definitely recommend this course and hopefully I'll return to play it again , and the members i met were friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely 9 hole course overlooking spectacular views of Cartmel and Morecambe bay. Greens in very good condition for the time of year

On arrival the mist descended so it was impossible to play the course and no one available to discuss
