A gem of a course.
The only issue i had really which isnt the clubs fault as such was a group of 4 in front playing very slow and unwilling to allow us (a couple) to play through, but im sure this has happend to us all unfortunately. A fantastic course, great layout and the greens are perfect. Bravo!
“T” off but no “Pee off”
This was my second time playing here, a good course for an intermediate player like me.My only criticism is after playing 18 holes it would be good to be able to use the toilet facilities etc. 4 hrs of golf - T off at 13:00 in at 16:50 second time everything has been closed and no staff around we played a mixed 4 ball (not good for the ladis
Early afternoon round
Wes pleasantly surprised by the feel of the course. Challenging enough to test most clubs in the bag! Fairways were pretty good, rough was such that you could quite easily find your ball and the layout is interesting. Greens were in good order, with a bit of 'give' and 'bite' when you pitched into the green. When putting, the run was even and true. A good all-round experience.
Why did we bother?
Don't know why we bothered to pay. There was no one there and the clubhouse was closed. No toilet facilities, nothing. The course needs a lot of work, grass growing in the bunkers, patchy greens. Play was fairly slow. Won't be going back.
Grange Park
Due to COVID-19 there were no facilities of any type available so I cannot review these , however I do think that toilet facilities should be available. I saw no staff or course administration personnel which was very strange.
Tha course is well laid out and maintained, and gave a good challenge to a intermediate golfer like myself. My only criticism about the course is the large water pumps left in the centre of several fairways surely they could be put to the sides.
Grange Parj
First time I’ve played this course, challenging course with excellent greens & fairways, Be straight off the tee as narrow fairways, couple of nice par 3s to really get close, all in all, we will be returning as I’ve left a few shots out the on the course & I want them back. Great value, great course, challenging for all handicaps. Highly recommended.
Interesting course
Some good holes that can easily catch you out. Greens in good condition given lockdown situation and course working with reduced green staff / hours. We got it for £10 so very good value for money. We are just beginners and found it enough of a challenge at our level though I imagine big hitters and more accomplished golfers could get some really good scores on this course. Definitely worth a round
Spring at the Grange
Course played long due to the wet conditions still a lot of standing water . Quite a few of the new holes exposed and affected by strong winds.
Overall great value for money on a scenic woodland course
First time played demanding course. Pleasant surroundings greens and tees in good condition.would play again.
Gets Better
Every time I visit Grange Park the course gets better. An enjoyable round of golf due to the variety of challenges on every hole.
