Winter golf
For this time of year course was very good. Value for the price we paid great. Went putting out the design to get ball out of the hole is great because of coronavirus no touching. Greens are great. Enjoyed the round. Keep them price down people will play there thanks .
Fantastic Value
Great course in great condition. So much rain in the last couple of months and you can’t even tell. Everything tee through to green was exceptional
Interesting layout and decent condition
First time playing this course and we will certainly go again as although the greens weren’t great, it was certainly very playable in December conditions. Some wicked dog legs left which for faders like me is always a challenge. Some fun water holes and with added wind as a factor it made for an interesting day out. The final two holes are really tough with a right angle left hand dog leg and then a 180 ish par 3 back towards the clubhouse. We used the range over the road which is a separate business which was good too. The layout was attractive enough to make me wonder how it plays in the height of summer. At £17 you cannot argue that it was decent golf on a relatively quiet course.
Grange Park
Nice course layout good condition some damage to rough from something digging grass up dry considering the rain we had previous days will play again
Last hole Thriller
Lost by 2 shots on the last hole, on a gorgeous day for golf
Grange Park
The Course is in a beautiful location. A great day out will definately be going back
POOR CONDITION, STAFF NOT VERY WELCOMING
Played here 3 times, previous occasions the course was in lovely condition , this time fairways very poor, Greens Ok, Lots of ground under repair which the course cant avoid. Will return when course in better condition, probably spring. Staff are not very friendly and dont make visitors feel very welcome. The club members certainly get priority when ordering drinks and food in the 19 th. Shame all round really as its a lovely place at a reasonable price.
Good course. This time of year little expensive. On golf now booking only 2.needed 4 ball . Not many play 2 ball . Some booking play 1 player
Well maintained.
Played at peak time and unfortunately it was incredibly busy with people queueing up to tee off at the first tee. It seems that somehow we were all able to book exactly the same tee time and so we were under pressure from the start. We managed to keep up the pace but being so busy it wasn’t as enjoyable. Three groups all in play on one hole on a few occasions. Not ideal.
Nice well maintained and attractive layout. Some very testing holes. Glad I played it but wouldn’t rush back. There are other local courses that are in my opinion much better.
A gem of a course.
The only issue i had really which isnt the clubs fault as such was a group of 4 in front playing very slow and unwilling to allow us (a couple) to play through, but im sure this has happend to us all unfortunately. A fantastic course, great layout and the greens are perfect. Bravo!
“T” off but no “Pee off”
This was my second time playing here, a good course for an intermediate player like me.My only criticism is after playing 18 holes it would be good to be able to use the toilet facilities etc. 4 hrs of golf - T off at 13:00 in at 16:50 second time everything has been closed and no staff around we played a mixed 4 ball (not good for the ladis
Early afternoon round
Wes pleasantly surprised by the feel of the course. Challenging enough to test most clubs in the bag! Fairways were pretty good, rough was such that you could quite easily find your ball and the layout is interesting. Greens were in good order, with a bit of 'give' and 'bite' when you pitched into the green. When putting, the run was even and true. A good all-round experience.
