Hanging Heaton
VISITED FOR THE 1ST TIME, PROBABLY ONLY DAY IN 2 MONTHS THAT IT SIGNIFICANTLY RAINED. WAS MET BY AND WELCOMED BY CLUB SEC, WE MANAGED 13 HOLES BEFORE IT BECAME A MONSOON BUT THAT CAN'T BE HELPED. LOVED THE COURSE LAYOUT AND 4 OF US WOULD LIKE TO RETURN. AFTER THE ROUND WE WERE MADE VERY WELCOME IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND WELL LOOKED AFTER, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WOULD LOVE TO RETURN IN BETTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Great little course
We played this course for the first time today and from the off we had a friendly welcome and showed the facilities and course
Course was in really good condition and course lay out was great and definitely great value for money
Will definitely return 👍
Great 9-hole course
Well maintained and members very helpful. Teed off at 9:34 pro shop not open and neither was it when I played last Summer. Really enjoyed it!
Winter golf
Lovely nine hole course. All greens were temporary due to the weather conditions but still very enjoyable especially the 19th hole!
Interesting and challenging course
9-hole course that you play twice for 18. Interesting and challenging course with some unique holes, including a par 3 that you hit blind over the cliff side! Very friendly staff and members who were patient and accommodating for me being a beginner. Excellent course conditions and lovely greens. Wasn’t having my best day so actually called it a day after 9 holes (because it’s a loop of 9 holes, I found when I came back round to the first hole I was coming into a big group teeing off for their first and I didn’t want to hold them up - nothing against the course or its members, just how I felt on the day and others might feel the pressure too). Overall had a great experience and would come back once I’ve improved!
Well kept course with great club house
Had a great 9 holes here. The course is really well kept and played great.
One of the better courses I have tried
Well kept and delightful course - will return that's for sure
Fantastic course
First time we've played here and I have to say, it's the friendliest course we've ever been to. Absolutely everyone from the green keepers, bar staff and members. The course is 9 holes and very well kept, even this time of year in November. If I wasn't already a member elsewhere I'd definitely be considering joining here. Already looking forward to playing again, thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.
Good & met expectations in full.
A great wee course. Pretty challenging. Bad shots punished! We played late Saturday and the pace of play was rather slow but things improved on the back 9.
A good drive is required on the 18th - 600yd par 5 !
All in all a good course and nice club house.
Great course great people
Only niggle is some next hole arrows would be good but other than that excellent will be back
Excellent Course
A 9 hole course developed into 18 options due to additional tee box placements for your second time around.
We found the course in fantastic condition. The fairways and greens were excellent. The rough was long and tough to get out of so a warning to stay straight. Some par 4s were short and a little easy (if you stay on the fairway) and there is actually a 240 yard par 3!
The clubhouse was great too and is steeped in history. Prices were very reasonable too. I am definitely returning to play again (probably in the same week as this round)
9 hole but good length
First time playing here and the course was in good condition considering the weather, didn't realise it was a 9 hole course tilwegot there but didn't matter, one hole was closed due to being boggy but overall very good
Lovely morning's golf
The course is in good condition, the locals were friendly
Just wish the score card had a hole by hole map
