Played Haste Hill today, greens in excellent condition. Fairways not so good but overall course in good condition. Well worth a visit at the price.

Last couple of times that I played I’ve been sandwich in between groups and held up the whole way round. Gave up a few times.
Other than that it’s a nice course and value for money.

Monday at funerial pace!!!
Monday 3 ball. Today's round was totally ruined by an extremely slow two ball in front. They made no effort to speed time between shots and leaving their trolleys a long distance from where they were playing. It was very hot but they could have moved much faster.

Since when was a 5 ball a thing?
Played this course several times as it offers good value for money and is a fair test. I understand that course facilities are limited during the pandemic. Also that with the recent dry weather, the fairways will dry out and crack in places. What I don’t accept is that the pace of play is regularly impacted by players who don’t know the meaning of course etiquette!! Too many play slowly, talk and score on the greens after putting out, never look who is behind or try and keep up with the group in front. Yesterday there was even a five ball playing together, not letting anyone through and just progressing very very slowly. No course rangers around to encourage good play and ensure tee of groups stay together and do not join just because they are mates!!
