Great course
Shame bar still not open as feels like incomplete golf day. Course we’ll looked after now - some stakes for hazards eg OOB missing. No season tickets means green fees add up for regular golfer.
Nice manageable course
A good public course, fairways suffering a little from the warm weather.
Some members of the public think its a park so watch out for them sitting just off the fairways on holes 2 and 8.
Good course
The only grumble we had was the cut of the grass on some fairways. It’s very long in some places compared to other holes. Enjoyable course still the same tho. But has been in better condition.

clubhouse not open because of Covid
Well worth a visit at £20 per player. A good test of your golfing ability.

You simply can’t go wrong with this cracking old course amazing value for money in good condition and great views highly recommend

Excellent condition for a public course. Greens a little slow but in excellent condition.
I would recommend for anyone and amazing value for £15 per head. No facilities open so couldn't rate that.
Only complaint, was speed of play. We played Saturday afternoon, 3 groups of fourballs in front of us were very new to the game and made it slow going with at one stage 5 groups on one tee! Fortunately they left after 13.
Our recommendation - Should switch 1st and 10th around, starting with Par 3 means to stop bunching and slow play at the start
However 100% would play again
Membership stopped
I have been playing in this course for more than 3 years, and loved it. My experience in game, is Farley new. But I am social golfer. I play for social life. Since they stopped membership my mates are moved to new clubs which is expensive. Now I am left alone. I play every now and then.
I understand the current situation, golf resumed as normal so why stopped membership. It’s disgraceful !!
For people like me
Course in good condition.
Great little course now kept well after a few years of suffering with burnt fairways etc . Recent improvements have made it a good challenge with all previous GUR in bunkers etc now in play. Booking arrangements are inflexible and shame it closes so early and no twilight golf. Need season tickets to offer value for regular golfers otherwise it’s expensive. Club offers competitions most weekends , good crowd and best value around to secure your handicap and insurance. Once bar opens again and club is up and running should be back to its former glory.

Great public course and a good test for any golfer. The greens are immaculate. Really enjoyed our round!
Best value for money course in the area
Best value 18 hole course, when the bar is aloud to open any it will get an even higher rating in my opinion.
