Haste Hill Golf Club

Played many times over the years greens we’re fantastic overall course great considering the hot weather clubhouse is much improved it was lovely sitting on the terrace at the 19th having a cold one only complaint was poor standard of golfer and very slow play my mate is x pro and we played off the whites to almost waste time as the four ball in front were like the red arrows a course marshal is much needed however value for money it’s tough to beat

Played last year and course wasn’t in best of condition . Much better this year and clubhouse is now open and good food/ drinks post round.

Enjoyed a round of golf after a time. This is a good course for players who are still learning the game plus players who play the game very well.

What a lovely course. Thoroughly enjoyable. A little shorter and easier than average. Fairways wide, so quite forgiving. A public course but as good as many private ones. Last year there were maintenance problems, but the ground staff have done a great job in recent months. You could putt on some fairways. Favourite shot is driving from the elevated 6th tee. Comfortable seating area at the 19th to eat and drink after the game. A great half day out.

as usual the course was excellent. it is well maintained and quite challenging, my only gripe is that i was stuck behind a two ball and they wouldn't let me play through even though i was right behind them, in the end on the 14th hole i missed out and went straight through to the 15th so i could get in front of them.

The course now is in top top condition, new Bar delicious food.

It’s a shame they don’t open for season ticket!

I hadn’t played at Haste Hill for a number of years but was very pleasantly surprised by the changes.

The staff were super-helpful and friendly when I checked in, and the practice green was in perfect condition.

The course is open and forgiving, with a good variety of short and long holes. A great course for the newcomer.

We played late in the afternoon, which had the benefit of a great value and much less busy.

After playing there is a lovely bar and an Indian restaurant within the clubhouse, so we could relax with a drink and a meal.

Excellent public course, reserved for ove 65 pre 10 am. Buggies need to be booked in advance and not let out after noon.

The steep hill comes into play in the first 9 holes culminating in a dramatic view from the 6th from the top of the hill.

The course is in excellent condition for a public course there are a few places a bit patchy apart from them it's excellent. The staff In the pro shop are very friendly and helpful which is great just before you play your round. It's a shame they have changed the clubhouse into a restaurant

For a public course it is maintained at top class where some private clubs would be put to shame. Pity that it has no par 5. Not even one

Haste Hill is a very good public course the price is great value . The course is mainly in a good condition considering its a public course. The pro shop staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I can say is the club is a bit of a let down now

Slow play spoiled the round and gave up after 12 holes as the group behind us did as well.

The course has a lot going for it , greens are good and maintenance work being undertaken as we were playing.

I have played here numerous times. Apart from the pace of play and fact this is a public course, it’s a lovely course to play with various challenges for all levels of player.
