Haste Hill Golf Club

I have played here numerous times. Apart from the pace of play and fact this is a public course, it’s a lovely course to play with various challenges for all levels of player.

Course great Unfortunately there was no food available only sandwiches. We bought 2 Seriously the worse sandwiches ever. Thinnest bread ever. And £4.50.

Incredibly they've awarded the clubhouse catering cotract to an indian restaurant. You really couldn't make it up. Golfers once again are the last people to be considered by Hillingdon council.

Growing up around the area I have played the course a number of times.

The greens, which I have known to be good in the past are somewhat patchy at the moment and slow, with pitch marks filled in with sand meaning that they are also very bobly.

The rest of the course isn't in too bad nick and can't expect too much more for £14.

Not sure if we’re.taking part in no mo-may but the rough was extremely long.

I played here about 2 months ago and like others found the greens unplayable.

Thankfully the greens have improved and the fairways are better.

I love this course, and I’ll always return.

Definitely better than as I say a few months ago.

The course is laid out well and mixes some tougher holes with more scoreable ones. However, the state of the greens was unacceptable. They were pretty much unplayable in places with lots of scarring around holes which seriously affected the roll of the ball. In the end, it wasn't worth the price we paid and I'd be reluctant to play it again unless it was substantially cheaper.

Worst greens you can imagine. Threadbare, bobbly. We decided to give 4 foot gimmies because there’s so little true run - ball jumps about. The lawn in my garden is in better condition.

The greens were not taked care so in very bad condictions

I love this course. Very well kept for a council owned course. It was unusually quiet this day so had the whole course practically to ourselves. My only issue was the condition of the greens. Very patchy and bumpy so putting was not easy. Maybe it is due to lack of rain over the winter as normally they are in better condition. Hopefully they will improve as the year progresses. Other than that, a good value for money course.

Played this course many times. Great value for money. Unfortunately the greens are in poor condition at present. Still worth playing though. Would highly recommend for a public course.

Normally I enjoy my game at haste Hill but this time I'm afraid to say I was very disappointed. The course wasn't in the best condition the greens were very disappointing and the fairways could do with a cut. But the main point that the game disappointing was the certain people on the course they had no etiquette at all . The way they were shouting at eachother when others were trying to play. Also they were very dangerous with there play aswel? So overall a very disappointing game

A very pretty course in pretty awfull condition. The greens look like they have a disease and are very patchy. Ball frequently jumps in the air or changes direction on putts due to dead patches that are like divots. Looks like they need some sort of pesticide or a treatment of some kind. The course gets very wet in the winter and it seems the fairways have not been cut since. very bumpy due to not being cut and rolled before drying out after winter. Grass very long. I have played this course on and off all of my golfing life, over 35 years and I can honestly say that this is by far the worst condition I have known it to be in. I question if they do actually have any greenkeeping staff. The council are turning the clubhouse into a wedding venue which will be awfull when teeing off on the 10th with noisy people beering it up just yards away. Lack of investment on the course suggests to me they may be trying to run it into the ground in order to sell the land for property development. I would say one to avoid but I also dont want it to be closed down and turned into yet more unwanted housing like so many golf courses.
