Hawkstone Park Golf Club - Hawkstone Course

This was an amazing course to play with some fantastic holes and layout. The condition was immaculate and overall a great experience. Lovely Father’s Day gift.

Course was in pristine condition especially for this time of year stunning views last time I played was 15 years ago wondering why I left it so long thinking of making it a monthly venue now

Great day, spoilt by the large number on the course, very stop start round of golf took 4 1/2 hours for a two ball.

Also the blue flags are very dated, ripped and not visible from a distance of 150-180 yards

Need updating for brighter yellow or red flags

Shocking condition and pro shop staff couldn’t have been less friendly if they tried.

Arrived to an empty car park to find the Lady members had cancelled so left the course entirely to my son and I. Welcome and service was excellent as was the food. Course was very wet in places but with a few moves it played well and with the whole course to ourselves 18 holes took us 2h40m. Will be back when drier, recommend the old course .

Friendly staff, great courses to play, preferred the Hawkstone course.

I left my bushnell in the buggy when I left, I phoned up on the way home and a very nice woman from the office went out of her way to pick it up for me,(Thank you).

Good test on so many different holes, especially as the course condition was first class.

What can I say, this is a beautiful golf course with some wonderful views. Course is challenging, with plenty of variety and some quirky holes to keep you interested throughout the whole 18. Played on a hot sunny day, so thr fairways ran fast. Greens in superb condition and ran fast and true.

Course is in superb condition and it only has one fault. The sand in the bunkers. Stoney and compacted, I understand the bunkers are called traps but I’d like to escape a little easier than that!

Other than that it’s perfect.

Forse siamo stati sfortunati ma abbiamo giocata in una giornata con giocatori particolarmente lenti. Molte buche si incrociano con il rischio di essere colpiti da una pallina. Detto questo il campo è interessante, i green sono veloci. Peccato per la estrema lentezza dei team che giocavano prima di noi. Oltre cinque ore per 18 buche sono troppe

We played on a Thursday in August. It was around 2pm and quiet, so pace of play wasn’t a problem.

The course was in superb condition from tee to green. All the holes are interesting and the views are internal, rather than far reaching but are still beautiful. There are no steep ups and downs, other than a climb to one green near the start, I forget which number hole. The course is challenging but not crazy difficult. It’s an hour’s drive from our home course but we still make the journey regularly, as it’s one of our favourite away days. It’s not the cheapest but we’ll worth it.

Beautiful scenery and a good course. Rewards for being on the fairway but not a card ruiner if wayward. Staff not the most welcoming and the food was poor. I’d still come back to play this course at hawkstone but I’d bring a packed lunch!
