Great course. Has a half way house with toilets and refreshment machines including coffee after the 7th and 9th. Bring coins though, my card didn't work.

Before Covid this was a great course to play late afternoon. However now you need to book days in advance and its always very busy with guaranteed slow play. Course still very well looked after and facilities are amazing.

Real shame its either too popular or tee times poorly managed. Would benefit from a starter at the first tee and someone driving round reminding slow players of golf rules, looking for balls for 5mins etc.

Would join this course if I lived closer , by far a top 5 course on the north west

First time playing here, conditions were great. Quite a few nice holes to play, even without long drives gives you a good chance of decent approach play. Although we played the championship course the 9-hole Academy course also had some beautiful greens. Pro Shop was good too. Well worth a visit.

Course was in great condition but signposting could of been better. Also found the course quite boring, could definitely do with some more hazards to make it challenging. I would still go back though just not sure I'll now join.

Take it as winter golf, some tees weren’t in use however I thought the tees were in excellent condition and were obviously being preserved for summer golf. Greens were in excellent condition and the course itself was a credit to the green staff. Overall the setup is flat and open to the elements. A very worthy challenge

Always a great well looked after course. Credit to the groundstaff! The greens are like carpets, the layout is tricky but well designed.

Friendly welcome at golf check in. Good bacon baps in the clubhouse (and pint of Praha). Interesting course with a good variety of holes in good condition as were the greens. Excellent 3 course Sunday lunch included for £38 . All round a great day out!

Played today in a 3 ball and was the entire groups debut of playing this course. Course was in great condition and greens played extremely well. Some testing pin positions but played really well. Shame about the service on the desk, bloke on their didn’t seem to care about customer service. Just wanted the money and done.

Great course, well kept, greens fabulous. Green keeper was in a bad mood that day, pins where in crazy places. He must have been watching Augusta re-runs. But that's all good and it was a pleasure to pit our wits against the course. Will definitely help playng again with a little local know how. Player standard on the course seemed good and there were no hold ups in play. Wish I lived near by here. Cant wait for a second go. Come on !

Great mix of 3,4,5 pars so excellent for beginners or pros. Lovely course would highly recommend
