Great venue
Course in good condition for the time of year. Slight criticism is that there were a number of greens full of leaves which could have been blown off in the morning. Other than that a good course would definitely recommend if you are that way.
A good challenge
Lovely course, the only thing letting it done are some warm up or practice facilities such as a driving range
Slow
Course excellent as always, but pace of play extremely slow. Two or three groups waiting on most tees so not ideal.
Snow Storm didn’t help!
Weather aside a really enjoyable round of golf. Originally looked at 1/4 but twice the price and a higher April cost than previous. Course in good condition although still a couple of mats to tee off for some reason. Need to get their clubhouse bar and restaurant operating again at more reasonable prices than the hotel charges
Good Value
Excellent course, great value at £20 before summer prices kick in
Hotel Golf Course
The course in the main was good for the first 12 holes, after that we were waiting at every hole.
When we finished our round the bar was closed and we had to go into the hotel bar, not a good move.
The bar was badly stocked and NO draught beers, which is thankful that I wasn’t staying there but is pretty naff.
Great choice
Got to say from the location (6. Golfers meeting up from different places) it worked out brilliantly and then the help to get booked in and be told we could go out slightly earlier than tee time from a very helpful golf pro was awesome, course was in good condition for time of year, greens good and tee markers were really helpful on getting around the course, 18th par three was a great finishing hole then the food(a bit pricey) and helpful bar/restaurant staff made for a great golf day
Good value
Played solo on a very windy day (35mph+), course in great condition for the time of year if a little wet in places. Good layout and facilities, no issues with pace of play. Overall great value for money.
Muddy fairways
Played here a fair few times now' but never seen the fairways so muddy....Greens were very good for the time of year' but pace of play slow.
Pace of play was slow at times due to groups in front not being let through, no fault of the Puckrup staff though. Overall an excellent course!
