Play is soooo slow
Very cold day and the pace of play by some players ahead of us a 3 ball and a 2 ball was so slow that it took us 4 hours to complete the course . We waited on every hole from the 2nd. It was painful and took the enjoyment away.
Great day
Great value and very quick to get round.
Good track to hone your skills
So slow!
Hurtmore is a great course with plenty of challenge, without being too long BUT the play was just achingly slow. We also played Hurtmore last Weds and the play was so slow that we had to give up and do the first nine twice, otherwise we would never have finished it (and we started at 11am 'ish. They really need to do something about it. The greens are perfect and they really look after the grounds
Excellent course in brilliant condition
Played today, was warmly welcome by pro shop, no waiting, course in excellent condition, the greens were amazing!!!! incredible value.

Top marks to the greenkeeping staff, good tidy presentation, bunkers well maintained, course furniture presentable, good cultural practices resulting in minimal presence of disease.
Shortish course reasonably easy to play..
Nice Course in Good Condition
Although most holes are fairly straightforward, there are some tricky greens - and whilst the course is not that long, there is some thought required to positioning.
Par 3 4th hole is a tricky one - short in length, but with bunkers all the way around it - so needs to be spot on for length.
18th is a very decent finishing hole - par 4 with the likelihood that your 2nd shot (over the water into the green) will be off a downhill lie.
Really enjoyed it overall - and in remarkably good condition.
Love this course but only thing is love the 16thbut why oh why always off a mat
How makes view Women players
I was behind some slow male members. I was playing with my husband. They held us up from the 8th hole and stubbornly would not let us play through. I think they may have done so If we had both been male??? Puts me off playing Hurtmore again!!
A nice, relaxed course
Good course for a relatively newbie with lots of wide open holes (there’s the odd lake). It’s a fairly compact course, so a fairly quick round.
Food and Drink good too. Only minor downside was the lack of a driving range, but there are a couple of warm up nets.
Enjoyable as usual
Lovely course well maintained. Always welcomed by staff. Great bacon and egg roll to kick the morning off. Highly recommended
Lovely women friendly course
Hurtmore is always a pleasure to play. It's a nice length with enough challenge. A course that is enjoyable winter and summer. As an older woman golfer I find it suits me very well.
Love this course during the winter months always walkable without getting too muddy . Some work going on but will add to the course
Slow Slow Slow
We waited an hour for breakfast(problem with the till sending orders to the kitchen) and the bloke serving needs to learn some manners, then it took an hour to play the first 3 holes we gave up after nine and anyone starting after us would never have a chance of completing 18 and the fairways have very little grass left, all in all we wish we hadn,t bothered.
course in good condition green keepers must of spent weeks on the bunkers everyone perfect with plenty of sand.
Great Greens but mediocre tees
The course was well presented and has been improved in the last 18 months or so. On the face of it is a pretty fair course but there are a couple of holes to catch you out, in particular the 3rd and the 15th. On this day the greens were in good condition but the tees were poor with hardly a flat tee off position to be found. This has long been an issue with this course but it would be nice if they could address this, even some of the worst ones would help. Having said that overall this course represents value for money in my eyes.
There are often quite a lot of slow players on the course. I don't think it was a 'female thing'. Some of the players don't seem to consider letting smaller groups through. Not all of course, but enough to make it a tad annoying at what is otherwise a nice club to play at.
