Bit tough to give a proper review imagine very different end of May with the sun out but for March weather conditions it was good. Greens were true. Staff very friendly

Good drainage

Hurtmore has kept up a good standard of course whilst others have fallen away because of the recent bad weather!

Looking forward to playing again when the course is in full bloom.

Well worth a visit.

I have played Hurtmore a number of times and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about booking a round there.

Firstly, the staff are incredibly helpful and polite from club shop to bar.

The course itself is constantly being improved to enhance player experience. The 16th hole was redesigned last year and golf cart pathways added to reduce course damage. There are water hazards on 6 holes and cleverly placed bunkers to create challenging shots. It's also a course that rarely gets waterlogged meaning that it's rarely closed during wet weather. Overall, a lovely course to play and well worth a visit

Excellent..

Not the longest course if you have a 270/280 drive. You will find yourself doing 30/40 yard chipping most of the day

The lay out of the course was great and the condition of the greens and fairway was excellent.. hats off to the ground keepers..

the first 8/9 holes were excellent and then you seemed to go through 4/5 holes that all seemed to be abit similar.

The last 3 holes changed it up abit and really made you get excited for the finish, which is a chip over the pond onto the green right next to the clubhouse.

Will definitely be going back!!!

Hurtmore Golf Course

It was a spare of the moment booking as i was working in the area and had the morning off. The staff were nice ans friendly and were happy to point me in the right direction. I had one of the first tee times of the day so i could get round in time for work. The group infront who were members kindly let me play through. The greens were good for the time of year and the fairways were also hard enough. It’s a relatively flat course compared to some i play in Bristol but non the less it still requires a bit of thought in order to score well. At the time i was playing quite well for me and scored 18 over.

On course facilities

As usual, the greens were good and the fairways were so dry that the ball kept on rolling even if it wasn’t a good shot, however it looked like the on course bins hadn’t been emptied for sometime and the ball washers were either empty or stank. It’s a shame really as usually the facilities at Hurtmore are good.

Hurtmore is good value

3, ball, 3hrs 15 mins, greens in good condition, fast and rolled well.

tee boxes could do with a little love in places.

no fairway watering, so very hard and dry.

but in all a great little course,

would recommend for a quick 18 holes in the evening.

teed off at 516pm, done by 830pm.

Stunning Greens. So quick and true

First time I have played here for over twenty years. Booking always easy and staff were very friendly. Course is very dry as there’s been virtually no rain but the greens were amazing. Green, quick and very true. We had a great 18 holes thank you
